انڈین کلاسیکل میوزک میں سروں کو کومل دکھانے کئلیے انکے نیچے " ڈاٹ" لگاتے ہیں۔جبکہ تار سپتک کے سروں کو دکھانے کے ڈاٹ سروں کے " اوپر" لگاتے پیں۔ " ما" تیروا دکھانے کیلیے اسکے اوپر ایک " کھڑئ لکیر"گاتے ہیں۔
