Krishna said to not attach to goals as attachment to goals will kill the happiness. Neuroscience: that's what growth mindset explains , don't attach to goals as you will decrease the dopamine comming from efforts . Focus on improving . Lord Krishna gave every knowledge to us . He is the ultimate therapist and the best friend ❤

Meaning that you should set a goal and then just completely get involved in the process(the steps) required to achieve that goal without thinking much about the goal itself? Just wanted to know if I interpreted the right meaning? could you please reaffirm this?

Bhakti yoga is to be soul conscious and not body conscious. Body consciousness gives rise to ego. A new born baby is a perfect example of soul consciousness. Many saints like Kabir, surdas, tulsidas, ramdas etc. have practiced bhakti yoga. It is possible even in this generation...

Hey Sid, Most of the people might be interested in the Bhagavad Gita and neuroscience. I am unsure whether it is possible, but I would love to see a video that deconstructs every chapter in the Bhagavad Gita and illustrates how it relates to neuroscience. This would provide us with a new method of learning. Thank you for this video.

Bhakti yoga is the essence of life according to me. I believe for the universe to continue Bakti yoga is necessary otherwise procrastination and overthinking will be promoted. Maybe I interpret it as Krishna is trying to relieve the people who are supposed to take necessary action by getting them a motivation and letting them think that no emotions should come in between your righteous Goal otherwise, you will lose a power of your identity and may regret at the end.

Hi Siddharth, I really loved how you explained bhakti yoga as something that's beyond just an emotional journey. It is in true sense, absolute surrender. But I disagree that just because it starts with 'I want to follow bhakti yoga', it makes it any less real. I would think that intent matters the most snd we all have to begin somewhere. And a person who's in this path seriously would not brag about it to anyone because it's a purely internal journey that seeks no validation from external society. Aiming for it would simply show an intention to go beyond yourself, your own identity, the mundane tussles of everyday life and towards a more blissful state.

Sir I have a question and I really want the answer of it. From my childhood I was very interested in studying, scoring good marks and learning new things. But from the exposure of the brainwashing thoughs of social media the harmful ideas of the unnecessary of studying is harming me. The FOMO of people of my age or even younger than me getting more famous than me is really haunting me.....I always wanted a peaceful life filled with joy and happiness away from the stage interaction.....but the necessity of becoming famous as highlighted by today's social media really affects me and many more like me..... Currently I am a mbbs student studying in a government medical college (UR category) Sincerely waiting for a reply.....

Hey, am a neet aspirant (UR category, I can deeply relate to the necessity of mentioning it). Gave neet 2024 this year, got a decent score and was expecting a gmc in my state( punjab). But as u myt hv been aware, my dreams got shattered away due to the paper leak. Am just clueless as to wht to do. I can really relate to your sayings. This was my drop year and the survival was lethal coz of this social media peak. I saw some of the stupid girls of my school boasting up on social media, becoming kind of influencers, showcasing their followers hence emphasising they r damn famous n popular even in a useless degree in a not so established pvt college..meanwhile i being the topper of my school ever since kept feeling insecure and unwanted in a corner. Am myself in a dilemma, whether to be a highly educated decent lady who’s just gotta watch mannerless brats being on top and happier, who are assigned as more successful then someone who’s grounded and did their jobs with utter commitment. I would be glad if Sid sir takes up this topic, as we youngsters are really bothered by it.

@@stay9247 Such beautifully you have expressed the concern that I have tried to mention above. Today's society has put us in this strange situation where foolishness, fakenes and attention seakers are valued more.....deep within our heart knows that studying is the best and most respect deserving job but inspire of knowing, a sense of insecurity strikes when we look at the media and the youth who are celebrated and respected....even the so called "motivational speakers" somehow always try to suppress the importance of formal education and the easy peaceful conventional path.....the ones taking unconventional risky paths are always celebrated than the focused goal oriented sincere ones..... I understand what you are going through because of the neet scam....don't loose hope....something beautiful must be waiting for you❤

Isn't the word karma a racist word - it clearly mentions that someone was born in a lower caste because of past deeds? Such garbage talk in India Nowadays getting a lot of attention because of the pseudo-awakening of Sudras - so I am not questioning your popularity on social media in a country where psychology is not included in the high school curriculum - my question is a genuine one - I have settled abroad and left that place because of too much of such confused talk in that country - but I get offended when Westerners are using the word Karma very casually.

This is a misunderstanding. The Sanskrit meaning of Karma is Action. In some metaphors, it is taken as the sum total of all your actions which ends up being your 'destiny'. But the practical meaning, and the meaning as it is used in Gita, is simply 'the actions you take'. All other social meanings are arbitrary and can be ignored in this context.
