I never saw this before and didn't realize it was done after Luke Perry passed away. I learned in recent years there's some bad blood between some of the original cast members and Valerie Malone played by Tiffany Amber Theissen. All I can add to it is that she refuses to appear with them because they don't treat her well. To the point that some of the cast didn't like the way the early seasons went with Valerie Malone. It affected her to the point that she left one year before the show ended in November 1998. When she had a cooking show she invited people from Saved by the Bell and White Collar but she never invited a single person from 90210.

I was happy to see the cast reunite. But, I wish it would have been a continuation of the series with the characters. Also, Tiffany was missing.

Shannen did not agree to be in the show until after the first episode was shot and the second episode was nearly done. That is why she does not appear until one solo scene by herself at the end of the second episode. She was not going to do the show at all; then Luke passed away. She agreed to do the show as a tribute to him. The cast, who were also producers, agreed to add Shannen in, of course. But, this is why she was a late comer. I think they wrote her in well!

It got canceled and was supposed to be a mid season replacement instead debuted in the summertime for a trial run It was never picked up for an entire season.

​@@monikori6473No, Luke had already passed, sadly. They mentioned him a few times and talked about how sad they were that it wasn't a full reunion.

Luke Perry I know is dead, but Shannen Doherty why didn't appear? I know he has cancer but for a 5 minutes of video she could do it.

No this is genius nobody done a show like this ''Lets make a show about a show we been in 20 years ago and pretend were still stuck in those characters'' Nobody came up with sucha thing ever before so this was a very smart thing to do.....Not only did 90210 set the trend back then, they're setting a new trend right now
