Your pointb about 80% shortage of Specialist doctors in CHCs is somewhat misleading because Specialist doctors do not opt to stay in CHCs or rural areas...they are concentrated in Tier 2/1 cities...so even if there are more doctors it wouldn't make a difference unless there are better incentives for them to stay in Rural/semi areas...

Firstly security of drs and Healthcare staffs in rurals must be ensured by gov. Secondly No dr would like to stay where medicines r limited and expired. Not all generic drugs response well as per expectation whereas gov promotes only generic and drs r bound to write tht. Low pay scale of drs why Dr would stay where just 70k per month salary if he or she would serve owned private clinic earnings is min 150k per month.

Pls do a detailed program on condition of mbbs interns, junior and senior resident docs too. Hectic work schedule (36 hrs in stretch, 100 hrs in a week), toxicity and undue hierarchy at work place, non payment of salary or stipend on timely manner, no leaves....all this need transformation if we envision for developed India .

It's better to move to European countries where talented doctors are respected than to languish in India where Aarakshan ke bheekari are given preference 😮

Cutoff pta bhi hai Reserved Vs Unreserved Vs Private or Management seats ki....bas Arakshan Arakshan rote rahe. Unreserved category cutoff for Government college: 605+ Reserved category cutoff for government college : 480- 500+ Whereas Private College cutoff- just Qualifying marks 170+

OPINION:- In india every parents spent almost every thing for their children degree and studies but government only uses 2.8% of total although this 2.8 % is not used properly(eg Government schools)

Current doctor patient ratio in india is 1:800 which sufficient not require more seat in mbbs , mbbs is new btech please not decrease mbbs brand and quality

Aap bilkul sahi bol rahe hai. Me 15 din ke liye apne mama ko lekar Mumbai ke Sion hospital me tha joki ek government hospital hai aur Mumbai ke sabse bade hospitals me eska naam aata hai. Waha Maine dekha ki jitni hospital me patients ki capability hai usse tin se char Guna jyada patients hai. Waha Jo doctor ward me rahte hai unki ye halat hai ki Raat ko 12 baje jab patients ke relative so 🥱jate hai tabbhi woh jagte hua dikhte hai aur subah jab 6.30 ya 7 baje utho to bhi woh kaam karte hua hi dikhte hai. Matlab aaram bahut hi kam milta hai . Raat ko bhi approx. 4-5 hours hi sote hai aur din bhar dodte rahte hai. Jaise woh dodte hai waise hi patients aur unke relatives ko bhi daudate hai. Hospital me management ki bahut badi dikkat hai . Aap hospital ke kisi bhi kone me chale jao aapko bheed deekhe gi hi . Mai to yahi kahta hu ki agar aap gareeb ho to apne dharam se jyada apne health par dhyan do.🙏

I am a doctor myself and there is no need to open more medical colleges or increase medical seats be it private or Government medical Colleges. I sincerely do not mean that people do not need doctors, what I mean to say is the economy of the country is such that it can absorb no more doctors. Whereas the Government is unwilling and in dhram sankat not to open more medical colleges and Government Hospitals (any State, any Government organisation, PSU or even Central Government) as it costs a lot and at the same time private sector too not investing in Medical college or private hospitals , so currently what ever quantity of doctors both MBBS and MD MS or even DM Mch doctor coming from medical colleges to practice in society, hardly finds patients to treat because there are no patients who are willing to pay (lack of purchasing power), again do not misunderstand me, not that the patient are not there, but those patients who are willing to spend money and seek doctor are missing. Ha ha ha and the worry part is such patients (many of them ) are not able to get Government health service because of Long queues. I hope you got my point. Unless the public of India has good purchasing power or unless the health insurance industry multiplies 7 Times the present within the next 5 years of Modi rule, BJP rule , NDA rule ha ha 😊,. . .no point increasing Medical colleges or medical seats, mind it , in the current circumstances, who ever will come from Private Medical College under current fee structure and expenses and if that Medical student has taken educational Loan, then both student and Bank get alert, such a student will not be able to pay their EMI of educational loan and will be NPA on part of the bank, (Non performing asset on part of bank).. REALITY CHECK, please do not mind , do not go by my statement, Check yourself

See if you cant afford a private hospital then go to a goverment hospital , all private hospitals work like any other private organisation who makes anywhere betwwn 10 to 30 or 40% profit margin , which is absolutely ok no one on the earth is here to work for free or at less salaries or for less profit , at the end of the day hospitals has to be run like a private company so that you can pay salaries to all employees and still make money , so if you cannot afford please go to goverment hospital , no one should regulate any private charges not only in medicine but anywhere , you have a option to buy a meal at 50 rs till 5000 rs , you have a option to buy a shirt for 150 rs to even a 10k rs , its the quality that you get after spending money is better so you can choose

Reason why we dont work in sarkari hospital is that 1- bad payscale 2 - poor treatment options and facillities even few emergency equiments sometimes dont work in emergency, even we dont take our parents to sarkari hospital because we sont trust the medicines they give and by that i am not talking about if the dr is right or not i am talking about the content of the drug , the quality of medicines is so poor that they are useless 3- corruption 4- pressure you get from the political parties , which includes what had happened in the pune porsche case if you know you know
