FYI: you can still use Port 1 (blue port) regardless of what speed you pay for you don't have to have a 5000MBps service plan to use it.

It will only give you the max speed that’s allowed from att. If you have red SFP then you can do 5000. But you have to pay for that service. Which is about $250

You have to use the att gateway as the modem. But you can get your mesh router and connect it to port 1 of the gateway. Don’t forget to shut off the att router Wi-Fi so that you don’t have Wi-Fi interference.

Yes, it needs to be a phone capable of handling Voip. No rotary phones will work on this one and you also have to have an account with AT&T for the VoIP to work.

@cherrykey7 OK at that point it’s no longer something you can fix or they can fix remotely. The signal is not clean enough for the house. They need to dispatch out a technician.

If the Ethernet port lights are off. Then that means it’s not making a connection to your device. You will have to locate the trouble of the line and fix. Out just simply run a whole new line to that device.

@@purewhips1 ok I checked online and ran test on my Ethernet and it failed as well. Does that mean it’s something with my router and should I give Att a call?

@JayP__ if you have a red light on the front. Your service is off. If not and you have a good Ethernet cord to your device. Then it’s possibly a bad gateway Call att and have them ship you one or send a tech. They aren’t busy.

@@purewhips1 thank you ! I forgot to mention my WiFi works it’s connected to my phone and I can watch KZread videos on my tv as well which is confusing cause it shows that it’s not connected to my WiFi. I also can’t connect my ps5 whether on Ethernet or WiFi connection.

@JayP__ yeah. Seams like defective gateway. Tech would have to check with their testing equipment to make sure. Come back here and let me know what they did ya know.

What about the red ont port. Why you not explain that?

Oh my. Red Ont port will not work. And if they got it to work with the 010. It’s only temporary. Till they stop it and then have to send out a tech to get it fixed.

The Wi-Fi name and password is on the back. The WPA key can be inside the GUId.
