Order worldwide the debut album Forbidden Love including the song "Tunisia":
iTunes: smarturl.it/forbiddenloveitunes
Amazon: smarturl.it/forbiddenloveamazon
Singer and musical artist, Bezalel Raviv, always felt the need to connect his music with audience outside his borders. He produces ethnic-political music with a popular twist, and combines East and West in a unique way that is associated with his work. His music is marketed to his fans through the Internet.
In 2009 Bezalel released the song "Tunisia" (from his debut album "Forbidden Love") which he wrote and produced. The song dealt with Bezalel roots as both his parents were born in Tunisia. The song was released along with a stunning video on the Internet. Tunisian radio station picked up the song without knowing the Israeli/Jewish origin of the artist.
When the Jasmine Revolution broke out in Tunisia and ignited the whole Arab world, Tunisia needed an anthem that will connect its people. Bezalel 's song was embraced immediately
Furthermore, Bezalel was invited to attend the festival "Pop in Djerba" in Tunisia, but his request for a visa was denied by the Tunisian government without passable reason.
Early in 2013 Bezalel release an online petition, the natural scene for him and his contemporaries. The petition was referred to the Government of Tunisia for the latter to allow the entry to his parent's country of origin. Many Tunisians have signed the petition, most of them Muslims, enthusiastically supported his cause. A month later, the visa was sent to Bezalel via email from the Tunisian embassy in Ramallah.
48 A few hours after Bezalel landed in Djerba, Tunisa and Bezalel was the first Israeli to officially invited and enter to the Islamic state in years. During his visit he met with Mr. Gamarra, Tunisian Minister of Tourism, after his debut Tunisian performance in front of a mixed audience of Jews and Muslims Tunisians who came to cheer.
Bezalel would like to say 'Thank You' for your support.

When I was a child
I was so naive
Didn't know a thing
So I used to sing
Then I grew up fast
Hid behind a name
Went into dark places
To kill the blame
To kill the blame
A burning flame
It's not a game
To kill the blame
I'm not afraid
To kill the blame
It's not game
To kill the blame
A burning flame
It's not a game
To kill the blame
I'm not afraid to kill the shame
Nothing about it
I
I wanna see the ocean so blue
And ride on camels only with you
You remind me of Tunisia
I'll never forget
How you came my way
Always I remember
Feels like yesterday
Laying on the sand
Two hearts made of gold
Braking an old conflict
Like never before
Never before
Never before
Never before
I wanted more
Just wanna see the open shore I'm looking for
Never before
I wanted more
Never before
I wanted more
I wanna see the open shore
There's somethin' about it
I
I wanna see the ocean so blue
And ride on camels only with you
You remind me of Tunisia
I
I wanna feel the sun on my skin
And ride on with the eastern wind
You remind me of Tunisia

i see comments saying : Jews are ALSO Tunisians .... well ...it sounds like they are doing a favor by saying that ... let me just remind you : Jews came to Tunisia thousands of years before Muslims .... it s not a matter of who is more Tunisian .... it s a matter of a whole nation who was forced out of the country by a majority of new comers ... Muslims talk as if they are the original dwellers there ... while they are not. Jewish Tunisians are NOT guests , in their own country.

bruh we have only 4% arabs in the country most of the people in tunisia identify themselves as Amazigh not arabs or jews. no one is a guest here, Tunisia been treating jews perfectly just like how they treat arabs but many of them decided to leave because of the economic crisis. Tunisians even protected jews from the nazis in 1942. u should check history we are not apartheid like israel.

I love the part where the Tunisian Jewish lady is saying with a sad voice "we are leaving Tunisia but insha Allah there will be no bombing and no dead people here" wow she think about the people she is about to leave, that shows the amount of love and recognition she has to her country and her tunisian people...goose bumps! If I can feel more proud of being tunisian than I am now I probably would die! :) This song makes me dance :)
