Are you a follower? My understanding is that they don't view him as human, or more that he is God in human form, as the most recent avatar, after Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc. I went with my friend who is a follower to visit his home in the Myrtle Beach center, and when I asked about his use of the toilet my friend got very flustered and upset.

This is amazing. Loved every moment watching Baba. Thank you for sharing it.

But I know that he was Perfect and divine, God incarnate, and never meant that. What did Jesus really say? To the multitude, he said, 'God is in heaven. Try to go there.' And to reach that end, he said to overcome certain temptations and sufferings. To his followers, he said, 'God is everywhere. Try to see him.' And he gave explanations to that effect. To the close circle of apostles, he said, 'God is in me, and in you too,' and actually revealed this to them. Why did Jesus say different things? Owing to the time and the people, according to their readiness to listen and understand. What Jesus meant was to leave all and follow him. That means to know him, see him, experience him.

Being a westerner, perhaps I'm missing something lol, but respect the lives of Sri Ramana Maharshi and Neem Karoli Baba for reasons of their humility: find it hard to think either of them would have called themselves God. It worked, love the movie and the God's presence. Louis van Gasteren is a Dutch person also, and surprisingly, I am half Croatian so understanding a lot of the subtitles too. does anyone know how this sign system works? is it based on an Indian Sign Language?
