Beyond the Observable Universe [4K]

Ғылым және технология

What we perceive to be the edge of our universe is not the actual edge of the universe, with most scientists in agreement that more space lies hidden beyond what we're able to see. Last time out, we travelled to the very edge of our observable universe. But today, we will be going even farther, as we wade out into the darkness of the unobservable universe.

It's ten minutes to 3 in the morning. There's a blizzard raging outside and i'm curled up in bed under many blankets watching this video. 4D Hyper Torus fan here. One simple reason. "As above, so below. As below, so above" All around us, on every level we can see, the nature of things is cyclical. An explanation that jives with that is simply best. The Universe is expanding, and indeed accelerating from our point of view. Without knowing exactly how, I know that it won't continue to do it forever. That's like a crest without a trough, a light without dark, a yin without yang. Nothing works that way. Nothing.

This is my main theory for why the “big bang” happened. If every other observable process is cyclical, why not universal creation? Who’s to say gravity doesn’t eventually pull all matter together after the heat death and explode back into a fresh new universe? Then again, it’s a theory subject to change, but it’s the best i can come up with.

It's interesting to realize we live in the past, that we only react to what we perceive as now a fraction of a second ago. The farther away we can detect light, the more obvious this becomes. yet at the same time: The light we perceive perceives no distance, no time. To the perspective of a photon it is transmitted and received in the same instant. Both of these realities are entangled and quite true.

"Arille stood closely static as uncle Lao stayed frozen on his magnetic glass amplifier. A dedicated worker as the best, Lao spent the best of his eternal years writting down on his clay tablets, handling them to his assistant drone as she steadily handed them to Lao's students, each of them tasked to decipher the near undescribable writings telepathically to the astronomers below, as they rallied to compare their findings and tell their opinions back to Lao and then Arille, as the later an apointee to take on her uncle's noblest mission to understand the darkness beyond. Feeling his biological time running out, Lao told them all to take the dark eon off, and amidst a wave of surprised thoughts, he closed his mind off and told his niece to follow him to his favorite spot to think. In a great highness beyond what any creature could think, as they sat in its immeasurable edge, Lao interceded any questions: "In my greatest dreams, I have seen what this majestic universe holds. Lands beyond our understanding and even physical grasp, unendless wells of suffocating darkness, and eternal emptiness of breathing light; I have even witnessed the deities that tower over our understanding of what is, and carelessly trample over creation, destroying and transforming matter. It is unfortunate that none but you have faith in my old wisdom, but I have nobody else to rest this as I spend my last eternity before becoming One with Them", he said, lost in thought, as Arille was unaware of the nightmare of hope she would inherit. "This Existence, everything we know and ever will, _curves around itself, and no matter how far even a thousand dynasties of us walk over it,_ *its wonders will repeat forever and ever, far after we're the dust".* Arille looked upward, to where uncle Lao gazed with a smile, and gazed at the eternal lights, with an inate wonder born within for the first time since birth; those lights that have always been and will always be, and shortly after, she followed her uncle, pondering on her future, on that of astronomical science, _and back down from the highest dried oak branch into their humble anthill below."_ Thank you, SEA, for the amazing insight on how insignificant we are to spacetime.

I think that no matter how far we go any direction, for any amount of time, we would only see stars and galaxies, things at our scale. We'll never see something different to this. Like if you were the size of an atom, and went through a human beings b ody, then out of it and into the air. The density / consistency might change, but you're still only going tosee atoms. You would have to scale up to our size, to see things with more of a grand, purposeful structure.

Especially since the scientists that start jumping up and down at any horizon don't know anymore than anyone else about why this road is 10 million km, what it' made of, where it's going...if you have no answers to any of these, it's just more road genius.

I love the concept of the doughnut universe. The ability for science to come up with ways that the end of everything is not the end as opposed to just being copium of the human mind to find some solace in a strictly utilitarian universe is striking. At the very least it would make a lot more sense to me than the big bang just suddenly happening randomly out of nowhere to create the universe for the first time ever only to continue indefinitely forever until everything is dark silent and cold. Like what would the the circumstances for a start of the universe to happen tens of billions years ago but be prevented from ever happening again? It all turns into existential ramblings about the universes existence but as humans it's all we can do

A simple observation: the universe could only expand if there is room for it to do so, therefore, what we know as the “universe” can not be the limit of which our existence is contained. We’re probably the “atoms” of a larger organism, and it exists inside of something else. Maybe our universe is expanding because the organism is growing into its “adulthood”. This is truly the most painful part of life, a curse, sadly, we may never know the secrets or purpose(if any), of our existence. 😔

I often think about the vastness of the cosmos and the limits of our understanding. When I try to grasp the age of the observable universe, I realize it's a complex challenge. The cosmic horizon is like a boundary, beyond which the light has been traveling towards us. But pinpointing where this light originated and how long it's been on its journey before reaching this horizon is a puzzle. From the moment light crosses into our observable range, the cosmic horizon, that's when we start to trace its path. Yet, the light moving in other directions in a 360 degrees multidimensional space, away from us, remains undetected because we only catch what comes towards us within this cosmic horizon. It makes me wonder about the true nature of light's origin and its multidimensional journey, which seems beyond our current reach. Looking out into the cosmos, I see light coming from all directions within the cosmic horizon. But figuring out exactly where each beam started and how we're positioned relative to its source feels like an unsolvable mystery. It suggests to me that the universe might be infinite, and the origins of the light we observe, which reveals the cosmic horizon to us, remain elusive. This realisation leads me to believe that we can't fully comprehend the universe through physics and mathematics alone. Instead, it seems that understanding our place in the cosmos might also require a philosophical perspective, acknowledging the profound mysteries that we may never unravel. If the universe of multiverse is finite, what lies beyond it? The world is without end.

An amazing video for sure l, so much that we don’t know and understand about the universe we live in. I also appreciate all the hard work you put into each video makes it a lot easier to comprehend. In my opinion I do believe that the universe is negatively spherical and it’s way larger than we think. To me makes the most sense that some of the graphics we have taken of the universe seem to show smoothness . I see it like earth, you look at a road and it seems flat but the only way to see the curve to to go up real high or have someone stand so far away just to see a difference.
