Dr. Douglas B. Flora is the Executive Medical Director of Oncology Services at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in northern Kentucky. He is also the founding Editor-in-Chief of AI in Precision Oncology, the new peer review journal published by Mary Ann Liebert Inc., dedicated to advancing the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in precision oncology to a global community of oncologists.
Leveraging 20+ years of experience as an oncologist and clinical leader with Lean Six Sigma principles and an understanding of artificial intelligence, he aims to enhance both the quality of care and patient satisfaction. Collaborative efforts are central to his approach, leveraging the collective insights and aspirations of the medical community. As an avowed AI optimist, Douglas recognizes the vast potential of these technologies: not only to enhance accuracy in oncology care but also to restore the invaluable human connection that's been overshadowed in modern medical practice. Embracing the advancements of technology, his vision is to enrich the medical journey, ensuring it's both profound and personalized while empowering caregivers to spend more meaningful, quality time with their patients.
Additionally, he serves as the editor-in-chief of AI in Precision Oncology, a peer-reviewed academic journal. As editor-in-chief of this new journal, the mission is to help foster novel ideas by advancing knowledge in the field and to help professionals in the field of oncology understand how artificial intelligence and technology solutions can be applied in an evidence-based and thoughtful manner. Overall, the journal seeks to promote AI's responsible and effective use in oncology, benefiting both healthcare providers and patients.

Dr. Sanjay Juneja is a triple board-certified Hematologist & Medical Oncologist serving as Chief of Oncology Service at Baton Rouge General Hospital, a social & news media personality known as the 'TheOncDoc' with over half a million followers, and one of fifteen social media doctors participating in the Healthcare Leaders in Social Media Round Table Series for the White House.
He has been featured by The Washington Post as well as dozens of national podcasts and regional news channels (PBS, CBS, NBC, NPR), and has given keynote speeches and partnered with American Cancer Society, BeTheMatch, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Harvard University, Louisiana Department of Health and several others.
