What a gem! Thank you! We are going today for the first time. Feb. 2024
Some non Polynesia. thought that we are natives n knew nothing. But now as the world evolved, they want a piece of Polynesia. they could see we are intelligent and resourceful people. For a long time, they never knew that our ancestors were the navigators. Now they are finding out more and more about our taongas, measinas etc. I am proud to be a Samoan always and forever.
You don't have to be a prophet to see that there is something important about Polynesian cultures that, with a little effort, can only result in a success story. Every person who still allows honest feelings feels it deep inside.

Funny thing is, the land that the Polynesian cultural center is built on is owned by the Mormon church. The Mormon church has owned 6000 acres in that area since 1865, where it was orginally used as a sugar plantation.
