Manfredi Romano is better known to all of us as DJ Tennis. The Italian DJ and Producer has soaked up all the musical influence available to get to where he is today in the house and techno scene. He juggles his music career alongside his other two major roles as an event manager and founder of one of the biggest labels around, Life and Death, which is home to the likes of Recondite and Tale of Us, with great aplomb. In his down time Manfredi enjoys the beauty of food, so we let him lose in the kitchen with the Slices crew for this feature on Electronic Beats TV.

+Imune001 big thanks! the story goes that the name comes from one of his early gigs at a tennis club and the flyer looked like it said dj tennis and the name stuck.

Am I the only one who's disappointed that he never touched on his production process? It's nice to hear about why he makes music, and the fact he loves food, but it would have been great to actually understand his musical process. Bit of a wasted opportunity.

pfff same of the same of the same. Studios...equipment, every studio has the same synths, the same drum machines and everyone claiming OU "my sound" pfffff everyone copying each other, just be honest and enjoy the ride.
