Beyond "Show Me" | Custom charts and maps in Tableau
Tableau includes 24 out-of-the-box chart types in its Show Me panel. While these will likely meet most of your needs, there are times when you may wish to go beyond the show me panel and create completely custom charts and maps. I just downloaded the tornado data. Seems like everyone with Tableau is using it as it's amazing. I didn't even notice it had latitude and longitude data. I don't know why I totally missed that.
This is the most beautiful application of tableau i have ever seen i could never imagine that we can use trigonometric functions to make image (afgan girl) in Tableau,Still i am not able to figure out how to do that, any one can help with some clue..........
