Adam Warlock is (no joke) my favorite Marvel character. I own his first cameo appearance in Fantastic Four 67 & his first appearance in Thor 165 signed by Stan Lee hanging on my wall graded. I also have an entire long box of just Warlock appearances including his Malabu Comics Ultraverse stuff. I’m 12 books shy of every Warlock appearance. It’s so nice to see more people discovering the character and it’s so cool that you did this video. I hope it inspires more people to read Warlock, especially Jim Starlins work.

Late comment. But do you have the comic where man beast and triax return, and make the infinite thrall. When he fist fights Triax in a star ship, THAT is when I realized that Adam Warlock can throw serious hands.

@@patrickcalip948 Yes I do. I have all Warlocks Marvel appearances with the exception of a couple Marvel Comics Presents titles. I also might be missing a Malibu Comic or two. He has stood face to face with the most powerful entities in the Marvel Universe however we have yet to see Warlock vs Sentry and that could be really interesting especially if Magus & Void get involved.

@@CPBuff22 You are practically the only person that I know of, who knows about the infinite thrall. I am relieved to know that someone knows about it, now I don't feel as crazy. I agree with you about him and sentry getting to fight each other. That would be sick! But I don't know if magus is a match for the void.

Adam Warlock was one of my favorite Marvel characters. But I can't be too interested in his potential cinematic iteration unless Thanos is there. Those two had the best conversations.

They botched everything about the character for the movie. Wrong origin, bad casting, weird role in the storyline. Conversations with Thanos cannot save it.

He did do the marvel cosmic power hierarchy, so I'm not sure it would be that different of a list. If it's for all comics that would be an interesting list, but some comics are inconsistent in power ranks.

Playing 5D chess with Infinity Gauntlet Thanos is more than enough to put him here.

I remember watching the film in the 90s , Julian sands was awesome....speaking of Julian he's recently missing and still haven't been found yet in the mountains and it's been afew months. Honestly I think he's dead and I feel eventually they are going to announce it as soon as they find his body....it's only a matter of time unfortunately smh....it's sad

I really hope Marvel uses Adam Warlock to introduce counter Earth into the MCU. And then we get a solo movie where Adam battles Man-beast (voiced by Jeremy Irons)

I hope they make it that the high evolutionary experimented on the enclave to create the sovereign in the mcu and that Adam had existed before and this version is a regenerated version. Could explore him discovering his past in a future guardians films or stand alone warlock movie

You forgot about the most important character in the Infinity Trilogy: Pip the troll.

Adam Warlock has been and shall always be, one of my favorite comic book characters, second to Silver Surfer and Hulk. Him being OP is probably one of the reasons we haven't seen him yet. If they do bring him into the MCU what comic book reference will they use or do you think that Marvel is like f-it and just make something up? Thus leaving many of us old comic book heads feeling a bit dumbfounded.

I am putting forth a theory that Warlock has been able to tap into the power of all the Infinity Gems to varying degrees since he became acclimated to the "Soul gem. It is for this reason that his power has become boosted over time .... and I will theorize that his future self (the one that had all the gems) was responsible for this .....I have no proof of any of this as yet .... but so9meone will write a story about his and make it true.

Galactus came to Reed for help because Galactus knew Reed was the only person smart enough to help him. Ever heard of the ultimate nullifier? A machine made to wipe out anything, ANYTHING, at what it points to. It was strong enough to insta kill Galactus. Wow, extremely powerful! I never knew the full extent of what he could do or really any of his powers. I just knew he showed up in 'infinity' stories. KZread essayists try to not start literally every sentence with the word “Now” challenge level: beyond omega.

I like the idea of bringing Adam Warlock into the MCU, but there is an inherent problem with writing OP characters. That would be the lack of real stakes. So, I hope that when they bring Adam Warlock into the MCU, they are smart about ramping up his observable power levels over the span of several movies, defeating ever larger threats, instead of have him step out of his pod at the beginning of GOTG3 and become the new Living Tribunal 2 hours later.

I think that's maybe what they're doing, but some people are apparently really pissed about it bc they feel he was not powerful enough in Guardians 3 Tbh I never got into comics. They weren't very accessible to me growing up (had to get random copies of whatever I could find through the library loan network). So outside the MCU I had never heard of the character. But even watching him in GOTG3 I was shocked and exclaimed, "Wow this guy is powerful!" If they pushed it any more I think people who don't know the comics would have been overwhelmed I heard Adam Warlock is also James Gunn's favorite Marvel character, so I trust that he had a vision in mind which was true to the Adam Warlock he knows Also from what I've heard it sounds like Adam Warlock was a slight struggle to fit into the story. From that angle, it makes sense to have him removed from his pod too early so his abilities are a bit weaker and he doesn't take over the whole movie. Especially since it was the LAST Guardians movie and Rocket really deserved to have his story told and get some closure Curious if you have any new thoughts after the film has come out?

If hes not my all time favorite character from any comic then he's without a doubt in my top 5. I love everything about Adam but one of the things I love most is that there really is no limit to the things he can do and I love how there's been so many times he's exceeded my expectations and he's always fascinating. Even more so than characters with far more power and knowledge like The Living Tribunal and Galactus who are also on my list of most fascinating characters.. there's very few storylines and decisions involving him that have disappointed me and I'm always psyched whenever he appears

Is a really fantastic character, hope he gets a comic serie soon and that show up on the MCU
