Abstract:
This presentation takes the audience through the life cycle of model based systems engineering and leaves us with a compelling vision of the near future. It gives concrete steps of how to get there, where SE has matured as a discipline. MBSE is then an essential tool of the trade, and the focus for Systems Engineers is the Systems Engineering discipline, more engaged and more effective than ever before.

I would like to see this revisited, in light of new tools and techniques such as AI, or more user-friendly methodologies such as Arcadia. Clippy is no longer a primitive technique, when powered with the latest chatGPT model. How long before we have AI-enhanced MBSE? Or stronger integrations between the system model and the Product Lifecycle Management system, the Reliability model, security model, or technical budgets for example.
