This mashup is sublime not only because of how seamlessly you mixed Beyoncé’s 16 Carriages with Alicia Keys’ LYNSMA, but also because of how it perfectly demonstrates the through-line of country music and R&B. BOTH GENRES were created by Black ppl from the story telling & soulfulness of blues music👏🏾
