I absolutely love Adele but Beyonce deserved to win all these awards, it's the Video Music Awards, it's about the videos and Beyonce made incredible music videos for Lemonade. The award went to the right person I think.

I have to agree with the VMA awards. You know that Adele's song "Hello' came out before Beyoncé's "Formation." I could not stop watching the "Hello" video but once Beyoncé brought out her "Formation" hook, I was hooked and soon Adele's song "Hello" just fell into the background of having heard that one before as I continued to watch Beyoncé's "Formation" and her subsequent world tour that opened most often with "Formation." Adele admits that her rendition of her songs are done her way and not the flamboyant presentation that captivates attention that way Beyoncé presents her award winning rendition.

"Hello" was great and was a comeback for Adele but when Beyoncé came out with her "Formation" hit, I was floored and found myself listening less of Adele. In fact, I don't follow her anymore especially when Adele put her self "second to Beyoncé" by her own admission. I don't think any artist should belittle themselves behind another star; that is something for the fans to do.
