Taraji has always been a fan’s favorite and very likable and relatable however, she seems even more grounded and comfortable than ever, she’s really coming into the next phase of her life as wonderfully and as pleasantly as ever. She’s such a beautiful person.

This woman has helped the black community in ways where we needed it. From books, movies, skincare, commercials, hair culture, awareness of deportation, scholarships, donations, winter coat giveaways, drives, apps, blogging, etc. I look up to her in every way. 💕

Taraji was the BEST on That's My Jam! I watch it on repeat!

Taraji is so real. I'd get the same questions anytime I got my hair done in a different style in high school. Going from a silk press to braids in one week blew people's minds lol. I love that she keeps it honest and teaches people about our culture and the different aspects of being black and brown in this country. Hope she's having a good day, this interview put a smile on my face when I really needed it.

Lol. Come on now Taraji. Not all black people have the same hair type. Chad blacks have straight to wavy Indian-like hair, Ethiopian blacks have curly hair that's seriously thick as the same as a biracial kid, and Sudan blacks have the nappy-go-happy hair. 😁. That is why American blacks have so many different grands. They're a part of all these tribes. But the part I do appreciate about the nappy-go-happy hair is when it's long, it can appear short to shoulder length until it's pressed. And when it's pressed, it's styles stays in place and has enormous body. So there's positivity to all hair types. Lastly, with nappy and curly hair, you have more options in styles. You can either wear it long or short or a fro or straight with tight or loose curls.
