We had a fabulous morning welcoming Health and Social Care students from Bexhill College to Saxonwood Care Home in Battle, East Sussex. Staff shared their experiences of working in care and how they've developed their careers since caring with us. Students took part in a hands on catering workshop icing cupcakes, and then chatted with residents whilst making beaded bracelets.
This is the first of our National Care Home Open Week 2024 events and we've enjoyed inspiring young people into a career in care and supporting their studies! Thank you for visiting us.
