I like to think that they switched bodies where the real Melissa will find freedom in the modern world. I don't know which novel it was but it has the transmigrated villainess trope. There was a bonus chapter where the original villainess was living happily in the mc's original body.

I make original characters and I have this character name Ophelia who is melissa's twin sister. Ophelia ends up with nine and melissa and yuri get together. Ophelia specializes with defensive magic

The one thing I love about this fandom is that everyone has seemingly forgotten where Melissa got her sword ( she stole it from Ian at some point, it is a very powerful sword that the royal family just forgot about) and these reactions really prove that Ian, the next king, can’t even keep track of a powerful family heirloom which proves that he is so not ready to lead the kingdom in the beginning of the series, I have yet to actually finish reading it so I don’t know just how much better he gets but yeah 😂

I miss the scene where Melissa asks Nine to marry
