my first knife was a medford that i bought on ebay, sent it back to Greg for sharping and a one of his guys called me and said we got bad news, the knife is off center and is pretty Fuked up. But he said I'll tell you what, we are going to send you a brand new knife and I still own that knife. Thanks Greg!

Last Oder out video to Miami blew my mind with the level of detail and refinement.

I used to supervise at General Motors assembly in Lordstown and Mansfield stamping and keeping an eye on parts was a thing at the assembly plant . The stamping plant was wild . They had this 12 story building inside the plant and in the ground and a huge elevator would pick up truck sized crates of stamped body parts , hoods, doors , everything . It was all automated and super cool .

Shame these things happen. And happy to see you took action. In some corporate firms it’s damn near impossible to fire someone.

I have many MKT knives in my collection and bought from reputable dealers, like Delray shooting center here in Florida and all have been flawless in every way including solid lockup, hard use, etc. They are expensive but you really get what you pay for. NO complaints....

I’m new to the knife game and I’ve always heard that you and Hinderer are difficult to be nice. Had nothing to go on until this so I’m glad you spoke your mind and stand up for your brand as such. Only issue I have with it is I can’t break it apart for a full cleaning. I feel like every knife should be able to filed strip. Come on Greg you have an amazing knife here. You can still 4 tiny small holes into to. Just give me an Slot / or a X. I still got it apart. But broke my tweezers during the process.

Bad publicity is still publicity. Greg's being smart like a fox.

Many makers have had provisions against modifying. I remember some manufacturers voiding warranties for disassembly. I personally wouldn’t honor any returns that were modified. This time around if I actually started selling again. I’d say all sales final. To hell with it. I don’t care what they would say.

At least nothing went to waste . 😊 This will pass . Good job on catching the problem . Shit happens with employees . They almost become like family so it hurts when someone breaks one off in you or me or anybody will feel offended . Depends on how bad it was though , depends on lots of things I guess. I d say listen, this is a business and not hanging around in your buddies garage screwing around , do a good job for a year and you can make a knife for yourself on your own time .

Just got another letter from a deceived customer and a copy of screen shots of Thomas Kinard saying dishonest things to cover his incompetence and telling the customer how to angle a free knife from the factory. There are so many things like this that have happened I felt compelled to warn my awesome customers and engaged knife nuts. Love you guys and FUCK thieves.

You shouldnt EVER have to "fuck" with a knife that costs $1000 dollars or more. If you do, quality controll is garbage, so is the knife. Only have a Medford Nasferatu, I Love it. So smooth it gives lessons.

Every company that uses 2-56 or 4-40 screws has screws purchased on the open hardware market as a global commodity type supply...and they are likely made in China. By the time 2 or 3 middle men suppliers have packaged and repackaged them its almost impossible to verify COO. My guess is all "rack hardware" is made in Asia, proprietary stuff MOSTLY made here. I can tell you I get hit up daily by chinese manufacturers trying to do work for me and to prove they are capable they send pictures of the parts they make for my "American Made" competitors knives. Not Chris Reeve Knives but just about EVERYONE else...
