The scars on his back were from his uncle Noah. It’s implied that Logan was abused as a child Kendall referenced “evil uncle Noah” in the dialogue with Logan

I mean, Willa’s end goal isn’t to be a call girl, her end goal is to work in theater in NYC, and being stranded in New Mexico with only her benefactor obviously isn’t her ideal situation. And Kendall didn’t relapse after his failure at the board meeting, he relapsed after finding out that his kids were being sent news stories that were published about him supposedly relapsing. It was spurred on with intentional malice by his father.

I rarely watch movies or series, but this one immediately captivated me. It's worth it. It never gets boring until the finale. Superbly written. 👌

17:10 TLDR It depends on how much they make and what all they do/how busy they are and obviously what type of person they are but generally when I've heard very wealthy people or drivers talk about why they get drivers its because they actually save a lot of time/money because if they're not driving they can focus on other tasks and sometimes the driver is also private security so its a 2 for 1 type thing. Long Version: My parents are fairly wealthy but they hate technology and aren't flashy at all so it wouldn't save them any money/time because they would never utilize it and there's other things they could do that would save them far more but just don't so they would never do that plus hopefully they'll finally retire soon (they've been able to for awhile but they need to sell their business which is a pain) since I've always wanted to do my own thing/start my own business (you grow up being told how lucky and spoiled you are every single day by people that have no clue you were literally working since you were 5 and it makes you want nothing to do with the family business). I've worked for/closely with people that were easily worth high 8 figures or low 9 figures and drove 100k+ cars (owned/own multiple very nice car dealerships so some were company cars but still they own them) and they all drove themselves even the 80ish year old father and they also were surprisingly genuinely good people as long as you were a decent person and actually put in the work. They weren't the type to ever get a driver in my opinion at least until maybe the dad starts losing mobility or something. They should've fired me multiple times my first month because I wasn't making them any money but because I was always busting my ass they gave me all the help they could for the first month until I got my footing and started making them money and were good to me the entire time I worked there even when I put in my 2 week notice the father still personally came to me and gave me my christmas bonus on my last day even though I wasn't expecting it and don't think I deserved it. The father and the son were also really into the lotto so they would send me to go get them lotto tickets on my lunch breaks and buy my lunch sometimes and even offered to let me drive the fathers fully decked out F150 worth probably north of $100k with all the options but I declined because no way in hell did I want that responsibility. So again in short you gotta being making a LOT for it to make sense to get a driver/security person and utilize it enough to save you enough time/money to justify it or be enough of a target to justify a driver/security detail or you just gotta make enough to pay for one if you hate driving and can justify it at least to yourself. (yeah my grammar sucks balls, I gotta start reading again before I turn into benjamin button over here)

Good point and I guess it makes sense if they're working round the clock like some of these people do. Thanks for sharing! And your grammar was totally fine! 😊

Oh my god, Chrissie, your reaction to that vote was priceless! Ha!!!!! Nah, I'm with you on this one. I think most people are. I know this was filmed a long time ago and you're just posting it now, but I love how you are relishing this and cackling with delight every time these obnoxious kids get a dose of reality. I'm in NYC, I'm surrounded by these lower animals, lol. Which brings me to......fifteen dollars for a Quarter Pounder with cheese, a fry and a Coke? What the......??!!!! They are just price gouging, they're all just price gouging. I can get an incredible bacon cheeseburger deluxe (ie: fries, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a couple of onion rings) from a Greek diner downstairs for the same amount (which is also ridiculous........but at least it's real food!) What greedy pigs. It's just like Succession, actually! I hope you boycott McDonalds, and even write a letter! I almost went in to get a Shamrock shake a couple of weeks ago, lol. Probably would have cost me 10 bucks! :D

Now I'm on episode 8, ha! Yes! I know which side you're on! (I'm on the same side!) Schadenfreude indeed! I am relishing every single cackle! It's cathartic watching you watch this! Ha! / I actually broke my neck when I was a kid, diving off a rock into shallow water. Trying to impress some girl, lol. (I think it worked! 🤣)

The guy who created this show, Jesse Armstrong, also created an all time classic comedy/sit com in the UK called Peep Show. The similarities to this are so fun to notice when you know what to look for. Even though they are both completely different shows... I can't recommend peep show enough. Seriously

Loving your reactions. Don’t feel bad about hating or being annoyed by these characters. My opinion changes on a given episode. I occasionally root for them to win or be better , but they’re objectively pretty terrible. 😂 Which makes this show so captivating.
