Luke was such an underrated genius of an actor. He is sorely missed.

The part of this episode that makes me cry the most is when the black cat that Dylan and his wife rescued came back after it had been missing. I have a black cat that my girlfriend and I adopted a few months ago and he brings us both a lot of joy and happiness. If something happened to my girlfriend and it became just me and our cat it would hit me hard. I would keep the cat but both of us would cry 😢 a lot missing her.

I know it’s only tv, and I don’t show emotion like this to anything , and still to to this day, that scene gets to me and hits hard, to think how life is so short and shitty things happen. RIP Luke Perry. Most will never admit this, but most dudes, no bull shit, wanted to be Dylan’s character

This was one of the saddest scenes I ever seen in a series. Although , this scene was even more touching with , " Nobody Knows Me", by Lyle Lovett. That was the perfect song for this moment. I guess they had to edit it out due to rights. I noticed in the remastered Baywatch , they did the same. Kinda sucks when you expect to hear what you heard in the past, though. I prefer the original music.

Not rights, but that they have to pay more money. It's very disappointing to hear a different song...especially on DVD. Many people were upset over an episode in the 3rd season of Quantum Leap was changed on DVD.

they should have just left his character with Toni after Brenda had left the show. Dylan and Kelly made no sense to me.

Dylan never got over Toni. yeah, his life went on, but I don't think he ever recovered from her death. I was crying when he came back and went to see Toni's grave, only to find out her father had her moved to an unknown place.

I am only going by what they played out on the show. (Any plans of him & Brenda are set aside, because she was made to leave the show.) Setting the soulmate thing aside, I think Brenda was better than Kelly (in looks & personalities). Toni was great too. Different, but still good for him. Kelly was that unexplainable, and sometimes pointless, attraction...which is called soulmates. Not good, not bad, just is.

Also should say, her father didn't move away. He killed himself out of grief of losing his only child and that he was responsible for it. The irony.

I've come to the conclusion that it's not a real song and was just created for the DVD release of this show since they couldn't afford the original songs. It was used in a DVD release of Melrose Place as well.

Song can't be found anywhere 😢 def one they should've released... still can to whoever owns the rights 😄 #justsaying

How I hope they address Luke's death on the revival is that he and Brenda reunited and married, and I hope they incorporate Shannon's illness in too - that she got really sick, he helped her through it, and then freaking died on her - would be true to real life because Luke was really supportive of Shannon thru her whole battle.
