I loved all the movies they made together. They were my favorite! I wish they could've made more together! I love Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo!

They should've let the show run a year. Idk but I always thought Chevy would've gotten better and more comfortable. Hell, look at the tool bags they have hosting shows these days. Especially NBC.

Such a bombshell knockout. All of Chevy's movies are a fun watch, but the fact that she's in a bunch of them made them so much more better.

1983 was the best looking year of her life.She was Amazing

I love this interview because it's in a way less polished, just a conversation between 2 friends that happen to be in front of a studio audience and they have to cover the usual talk show questions. Beverly really holds her own here. You can tell Chevy adores her.

Might be the only interview that ever went right on the Chevy Chase show. All the others he was disconnected.

This was awful, especially for someone he's worked so closely with. The only good interview was with Robert DeNiro. You could tell Chevy was genuinely interested and had palpable reverence for DeNiro. In fact, years later he would say getting to interview Bob was the only good thing about the show.

Man, this show should not have been cancelled.

Although this was considered one of the worst talk shows, of it's time at least it's still seems more genuinely authentic than any of the horrible excuses for talk shows now. There's no agenda here, no politics, it doesn't even sound scripted. They just sound like two old friends teasing each other, perfect chemistry. Despite Chevy having kind of a reputation for being difficult you can tell D' Angelo knew how to deal with him. Maybe that's why they were able to make so many of the Vacation movies. Of course there was the money but both D' Angelo and Chase played the Griswold's even in the remake, which really was another sequel which continued with Rusty and his family.

I just got my subscription to the Jelly of the month Club !! Pure genius !!!! LMAO!!!

So strange to see them in this situation. I see them walking together back towards the stage and all I see is mr. And mrs. Griswold

I seen a recent video of Chevy watching Christmas Vacation with his real life daughter and he said “we need to make another one of these movies.” I really think they should make another one before he kicks it. He’s getting up there in age. Clark has one more in him!

As a Chevy fan, I tried to watch this show when it was on TV but it was just too hard. He's nervous, bitter and selfish. Even with the INCREDIBLE Beverly D'Angelo, he tries to keep his guest off-balance and defensive. "Do you have any regrets?... What happened to you?... Just a minute... Ever called a 900 number?" LOL Really backward interviewing style. It's like he wants his guest to stumble so he can say "Let's get back to me." By the way, Chevy, leaning in toward your guest is HORRIBLE body language for an interview. Finally she says "Who cares?", which is actually an honest assessment of his show, and which also really pisses him off. LOL

This show bombed. It got pulled off the air against being crushed by Late Night and the Tonight Show. Chevy just seems to have lost his groove by this time in his career.

Beverly still looks good here but in Chase's infamous roast, it was plastic city. Wish these people age gracefully the natural way, but when you got dough to burn, they go bonkers.

Even Chevy’s suit was a poor fit.

beverly d'angelo will empty your coffers. ask pacino. she's decent at best.

Sorry Chevy... LOVED you in your movies, but you just don't have it.

He doesn’t look comfortable as a host.

Im a huge Chevy fan and i think hes a comedic genius. But the entire interaction with Beverly looked totally forced and awkward. Looks like anxiety to me. The cameras and spotlights with pressure of filming and performing live throw him off and get in his head too much. He was nervous and it was obvious. Take those two backstage and let them talk without cameras on and it would be completely different. Would be much more natural and organic. Thats what people want to see. Instead we got a nervous Chevy who couldn't keep it together even with a close friend like Beverly who he should of felt very comfortable with. The lights cameras come on and anxiety kicks in. Understandable because he's human. Didn't seem like he prepared questions or talking points beforehand. Like he just winged it which is never a good idea.

Really enjoyed Chevy' s movies, even the weird ones. But this was not a good avenue for him.

Why is Chevy such a jerk? Why does he hate every one?

Carter was elected thanks in part to Chevy the tool, for that alone I hate him.
