Neither did I. I was , as a matter of fact, laughing my ass off at this when I was little.
I'm getting repressed memories from pre school now. I remember we would watch PBS kids for 10 minutes or so while we waited for the buses to line up. I always felt safe being surrounded by other kids watching this monster.

Seeing Al Franken in this was a trip
My day has been completed by watching my favorite part of this show
This month, this song randomly popped into my head twice. I haven't watched this show since I was a kid.
I have conflicting feelings with this guy. I recently watched the intro of the show again for the first time in YEARS and as soon as he came on screen it was like suppressed memories of fear all came back and I had the most primal feeling of fear I have ever felt. But then after that feeling passed I had memories of liking his segment so I have no idea if I feared him back then or liked him lol.
This is unrelated to Smarty Pants but I love how even though this is a younger kids’ show, the lions are SHOWN to be carnivores and constantly think/talk about how much they love it and how much meat they can eat. I watched this all the time when I was little and I think they even talked about pouncing and hunting lol. The cool thing is that instead of scaring/confusing me, it actually made me love them even more, because it meant that they COULD eat their little monkey/bird/mouse/human friends in the library but choose not to out of respect and kindness. One of the many reasons why this is one of those kids shows that’s not really just for kids heheh, I swear the writing is Phineas and Ferb level clever
@caroldefender4144
10 ай бұрын
Well, Click is a mechanical mouse, not a living one. So they wouldn't be able to eat her either way.
I remember watching this stuff when I was little. I had great vocab but I was late on talking. And I still like it.
I legit had this stuck in my head for days so now I'm here. This was my childhood, the nostalgia is strong with this one.
I remember seeing this guy on between the lions and it scared the crap out of me. I would make my dad fast forward it
There's a reason why this video isn't marked for kids
My brain cells when I'm trying to beat somebody else at a math competition.
This is the first time i've seen or heard this song since i was a kid and this show came on tv. But for some reason every couple of months now that im an adult i would catch myself singing this. Finally decided to look it up and watch it again after all these years.
