I have a fun hobby with a couple of friends, every wednesday we meet us at one friends house to listen to music , smoke pot, and eat pizza, we promised that we will be looking for good new bands to enjoy the moment, but every time we are there, we ended up listening to btbam, we´ve been doing this for 3 years. We celebrated Automata´s releases recently with double dosis of pot and pizza.

This is true sensory bliss. One of the best songs ever in the history of prog.

The transitions between different parts of the song are so seamless. It all flows so well for such a long song. It keeps the same vibe whilst changing it enough so it doesn't get boring and the guitar parts in this song are so incredible

I've become exactly the same. I very rarely listen to any metal that doesn't have a good number of progressive elements nowadays.

These guys are too good. King Crimson should be proud to have inspired such a lightning in a bottle band like these guys.

There are good bands, great bands, and then there is BTBaM on a shelf all their own. Truly transcendental from music to story. Every single time.

King Crimson, though.

This might be one of their most consistently and progressively grooviest tunes yet.

This band can do no wrong.

The sections of this song are just so fucking dense and intricate, it's mind-blowing. They packed in so much sick stuff into this one song, it's impossible not to respect the craftsmanship. Can't wait to see them play this whole set live.

yep i can already tell this song is gonna grow heavily on me.....at first it was a bit overwhelming, as any good song should be in this genre. but i like it more and more every listen....and The Great Misdirect is my favorite btbam.

Been a huge fan since Colors came out, and BTBAM never fail to impress me... but this track alone is the best shit they've done since TGM. It's all the best parts of their old sound, with their new direction. Could listen to this all day.

I love how some of the parts in this song are reminiscent of Nova Collective. Probably had a huge influence on Briggs

The soundscape of this song is pretty neat, it is very open, but becomes really centered at certain moments.

Amazingly epic piece of music that draws you in and evokes many emotions. I haven't been listening to BTBAM lately, but I recently decided to check them out again and I am reminded why they will always be my favourite band. Their music holds up so well over time. When I'm 80 I'll still able to enjoy it.

Parallax 2 would be the most plausible, I think it has the most story to it, but then I really haven't delved into Coma or Automata. I really just want to see the madness that is Hypersleep Dialogues or Telos in a cinematic setting haha
