Everything you said brings me back to Michigan 2006 Dirt Fest at the Birch Run expo center, the only difference is this show was outside not in a small room however the thick michigan august air after almost 2 day’s rain made the atmosphere exactly as you described, their weren’t a lot of ppl this day because of all the rain however about 3-4 hours before Btbam played which they started at 9 pm I believe the rain had subsided completely leaving a hot humid but not too humid cloudy night with a sprinkling of stars complete with a half or 66% full moon. Me, my band and our group of friends were hard core so we stuck out shows whether their be rain and lightning to hot and sweaty to cold AF snowing, sleet and rain, every type of whether we watched our fav bands play through it as we also played through such weather ourselves. Sure the hardcore weather days made for great stories and very unique experiences however there is nothing like having decent enough weather to where it doesn’t effect you or the band so severally that we cant all come together and have a special moment, well all of dirt fest that year was a muddy slop of disaster, this tour was named dirt fest specifically because of the mud and dirt youd be surrounded by due to the time of year and states this small tour ran in, 2006 dirt fest was a particularly a huge shit (rain+dirt=MUD) show which caused many to go home but the few whom stuck it out til the end got too wittiness an extremely special moment where BTBAM on a small stage with a small crowd 100 ppl like you said the weather subsided and we all became one the band and sound team knew this as wel so they had the volume ever so perfect that with all 100 ppl singing you could hear the music and vocals set a notch or 2 above but not to loud as to drown out the crowds vocals and and it will always be one of my most remembered moments seeing any band, id seen BRBAM 2 times prior both were equally phenomenal but this night had just that tad bit of unique sparkly rare dust that is not easily or often recreated.

man ill never forget the first time i listened to colors, in my friends apartment, they left for a few and i slapped that cd into my buds cd player laying down on the floor of his room and i just felt blown away. i also felt melancholy, colors amplified the distant feeling inside me and seemed to preceed the predominant feeling i am used to today. almost like they were on to something. always ahead of the curve is btbam, i love you guys
