?? I'm from Johannesburg, SA & cricket has always been the most popular summer sport in SA. The parks are full of white & black kids playing cricket with a tennis ball. T20 matches were shown in A.V. Room when I was in school. We used to watch ABD Villiers bat during school days and recently watched the world cup in college. Cricket never declined in SA. It's always the top 2 sport. We play rugby in winters & cricket in summers and love both. Personally I love cricket more as it's more interesting to watch . I love T20 and tests. Not odi

yeaaah unfortunately it started looking like Cricket died in SA, there was news maybe 2-3 yrs back that the SA board was struggling to run and test matches wouldn't get any crowds. So, I was happy when SA20 got so many people last year. I guess we were wrong lol @@user-tc5cn1pq7s

​@@saikatghosh9073 actually there was one back in 2011,12 it was called CLT20 but the major problem was a individual player plays for several other franchise unlike football where there just one contract for one player throughout the season that's the reason Its not played now

Paarl Royals does not have depth in their batting line-up because Fabian Allen comes at no. 6 and Andile Phelukhwayo at 7 so it seems that David Miller has decided to anchor the innings in this season till 17 overs and then explode at the end and he has done that really well in the 2 games they have played.
