Her take on this reminds me of Our Lady of the Underground from the concept album. Im interested to see how she sounds after getting used to the role more.

Can confirm I saw her about a month and a half into their run and was FANTASTIC, was far more comfortable in the role! She was clearly having a ton of fun with it 😊

Yessss I love that each new Persephone has her own flavor of derangement in this one.

This is knit picking ( & she IS phenomenal!) but itz only cuz I want her to shine even brighter : I wish she’d sound more drunk or slurred or “out there” or such when doing the band intros. To me , it sounded a lil outta character and more like any concert performer introing the band. ( but it was just reflecting her amazement & gratitude to be there !) That’s just me … but I’m curious if maybe she got notes about it. And of course , notes are great & they mean that the performer is more than worth the trouble ! Brava !

a lot of the normal band is out here, i love this pianist though! especially towards the end

I feel like I can’t fully judge because I haven’t see it live but she really made the role her own and I like that.

I REALLY don’t want to dislike her variation of Persephone, but I just don’t know that she really captures the depth of the character yet. Sure, on the outside Persephone is sexy and fun, but it’s all fueled by some heavy emotions.

This was also her debut,,,, a lot of debuts are not the best just due to nerves, especially since this is her Broadway debut besides this song is typically a 'funner' song

This is my favorite song in the show and an amazing first show

I saw her sept 13th and she was already 100000% better than this, the best Persephone yet. Not pitchy or too quiet anymore that’s for sure lol. Very confident 2. The sultry take on her and more emotional/vulnerable take was incredible and made me love Persephone way more than I did before

In this song it’s actually Hermes and the band singing as persephone’s chorus! The workers are offstage while Persephone does her thing

I want to see her live but probably won’t be able to, cause poor. But I want to see the full character. She sounds fine. But not sold just on the audio, her voice feels is gorgeous but it feels like it’s missing some depth

Oh wow… her voice sounds classically trained (like mine) and she still pulls it off perfectly!!! This is so so so good, no it’s AMAZING!!!!
