Betty Hutton was a phenomenon! This woman was such a ball of energy and fire that by the time you were done watching any of her films you were left exhausted (from pure entertainment of course)

This genuine, original and inovative woman commanded her audience, influenced other great artist. She was as Bob Hope put it..a vitamin pill with legs...She was the one and only Betty Hutton...There'll never be another Betty Hutton. God Bless this songstress. I hear she's had a hard life but is now happy and living in Palm Springs California. Glad she's still her enjoying life. I sure enjoy her! I just can't stop talkingabouthertalkingabouthertalkingabouther!!!!THANKS!

I think Betty Hutton is one of my favorite partners of Fred Astaire. I know his other more well know female partners were better dancers, but he clearly had so much fun with Betty in this movie it’s so fun to watch.

Big surprise for me. I didn´t wait nothing special from couple Fred Astaire - Betty Hutton, but found this great stuff. After a little bit nuisance song follow maybe wildest Astaire´s dancing number I saw (with Shorty George). Just few seconds long, full of energy and great from Betty Hutton side. While Ginger on my eyes is mostly overshadoved by Fred dancing (he is simply technically more precise and artistically way better dancer) on this one despite Fred´s elegance and technic, Betty Hutton´s dancing execution is a little bit more interesting because her spontaneity. Interesting moment 2:30-2:35 steps sequence - used it Astaire, Kelly for many times, Tommy Rall once (Invitation to dance), from female dancers only three - Vera Ellen (best execution I saw in Courier and Ives finale), Rita Hayworth in Shorty George - not good a little bit remiss execution and here Betty Hutton - not so great as Astaire but very fine, with good hands and head movement and enthusiasm.
