Betty Hutton was a phenomenon! This woman was such a ball of energy and fire that by the time you were done watching any of her films you were left exhausted (from pure entertainment of course)
How does she never breath and still sound so good. That lady was the definition of energy.
This genuine, original and inovative woman commanded her audience, influenced other great artist. She was as Bob Hope put it..a vitamin pill with legs...She was the one and only Betty Hutton...There'll never be another Betty Hutton. God Bless this songstress. I hear she's had a hard life but is now happy and living in Palm Springs California. Glad she's still her enjoying life. I sure enjoy her! I just can't stop talkingabouthertalkingabouthertalkingabouther!!!!THANKS!

Barbara Bartlett Well she's surely at peace, but resting? This ball of pure energy? She ' s still entertaining the generations Above, all Earthly constraints removed. Why even the Blessed Lord might be dancing a jig! And you can't prove He wouldn't! Is everybody happy?
Betty claimed she did this number in one take ... she was amazing ... What a crazy, loveable gal.
WOW! (I just discovered the greatness of Betty Hutton today; I think I'm in LOVE!) What a bundle of energy she was. Jesus.
I never realized Betty Hutton was such a good dancer!

Did you.see her figure? She had a great shape!!! Excellent dance. No one today could do that.
I love all that Betty Hutton does.
everytime is see this it cracks me up!!! I really adore Betty Hutton!
I love this classical and fun number. This song truly belongs only to the legendary Betty Hutton from the 1950 classic movie Let's Dance! I love it! I was born in 1978. I own this on videotape, Laser Disc, DVD and Blue Ray.
what i love about her is that she has a normal body and isn't stick thin like many actresses are required to be now... she is so dainty and cute ^^ i love her!
I think Betty Hutton is one of my favorite partners of Fred Astaire. I know his other more well know female partners were better dancers, but he clearly had so much fun with Betty in this movie it’s so fun to watch.

Reading Hutton's biography she and Fred had a good time on this film.
This woman had such strength in her upper body. The way her muscles flex as she dances, she's more built than Fred and she still somehow looks dainty! Wow!
I love her! Her movies are great if only Turner Classic Movies would show more than just the 3 they always show!
Wow she was brilliant !
Yes, it's from "Let's Dance." The movie is pretty easy to find. I've had my copy for a few years. Long Live the memory of the great Betty Hutton! Of course Fred Astaire isn't chopped liver either! 2 of the all time great entertainers of ALL time!
she must have had lungs like bellows! Amazing!
Oh my god. I LOVE her.
haha! I grew up to my mom singing me this song. And I sang it to my kids. LOL!!! First time I seen the video. Too funny!
Wow, she's amazing.
Such a masterpiece!
damn!!! Betty Hutton is amazing!!! love her! I wish could be in tha era!!!
His eyes, his nose, his fingers, his toes His smile when he says please And when he sneezes, his sneeze His arms, chest, coat, vest His everything is sweeter than sweet I try and try but honest to Pete … I can't stop talkin' about him And talkin' about him and talkin' about him I can't stop talkin' about the man that I adore I can't stop talkin' about him And talkin' about him and talkin' about him I can't stop talkin' about him and though I seem a bore I can't stop tellin' about him and yellin' about him And tellin' about him I can't stop hollerin' over the moment that we met … He had a pinstriped whatd'yecallit A beautiful smile, a barrel of money I can't stop talkin' about him yet … He kissed me a bell went "boing" A whistle went "whoo" A trapped door opened and I flipped right through And now I can't stop talkin' about him And talkin' about him and talkin' about him And if he was yours, well neither would you! … Stop talkin' about him and talkin' about him, And talkin' about him and talkin' about him Until your face turned blue Talkin' about him and talkin' about him, Talkin' about him and talkin' about him The whole day through
I always consider Betty Hutton the Female counterpart of Danny Kaye. She was just Talented as he was. It's a shame they never did a movie together. Now that would have been a sight to behold. Two of My Favorites Comedic Geniuses.

That’s exactly what I think!!! You’re the first person that I’ve come across that said that😀😁Love them both so much. And yes, a BIG YES to them being in a movie together-that would have been a hoot !!😆🦉
I'm in love.
what a couple. Mr elegance faces Mrs.... Betty Hutton. the dance is quite simple to Mr Astaire but a challenge to Mrs Hutton
PERFECT!
Can't get that song out of my head!!!
Thats a great video with lovely Betty Hutton
i love this song!!!
Fred Astaire was great! What was even greater is that Betty Hutton did the steps with high heels!
Betty surely kept up very well with Fred........she shows her dancing talent as a dancer in this number.
she's hilarious!
Isn't she amazing?!

Great fun! And thanks to Audra for reviving this terrific tune. But Betty's got it in the bag. (Fred helps too.)
This makes me smile ^-^

IS awesome! : )
A woman needs strong lungs to tackle this song.
Jaaazzz, great Jazz dancing 🎺
AMAZING!
I wish that I could find a better print of this.
Amen!
Phenominal. Thanks for sharing!
That so-called "legendary screen actor" happens to be Fred Astair. They were truly great together!

Those people, Fred Astair. and Betty Hutton must have had elastic skeletons in their day!!!.
LOL! I JUST WATCHED THIS AGAIN AND I CRACKED UP! Betty: " He had a bell went BONG! whistle went WHOOOO!" Piano Guy: " EH!" ( or ow, I don't know witch) Betty: Crack that door open and blow right through!" LOL!
Bettywas the first all round entertainers in Cowboy Films. the next was Doris Day and Howard Keel appeared with both. Their like will never be seen again on Screen.
Hmmm, perhaps because the purpose of the post is to showcase "Can't Stop Talking About Him" sung by Betty Hutton ... oh, and she was the headliner of the movie ... her name was above Astaire's.
I now know what i know her from! She was in The Greatest show On Earth
I love this song!! But I can't find it on iTunes:(
Great!! Thanks for this! =)
Big surprise for me. I didn´t wait nothing special from couple Fred Astaire - Betty Hutton, but found this great stuff. After a little bit nuisance song follow maybe wildest Astaire´s dancing number I saw (with Shorty George). Just few seconds long, full of energy and great from Betty Hutton side. While Ginger on my eyes is mostly overshadoved by Fred dancing (he is simply technically more precise and artistically way better dancer) on this one despite Fred´s elegance and technic, Betty Hutton´s dancing execution is a little bit more interesting because her spontaneity. Interesting moment 2:30-2:35 steps sequence - used it Astaire, Kelly for many times, Tommy Rall once (Invitation to dance), from female dancers only three - Vera Ellen (best execution I saw in Courier and Ives finale), Rita Hayworth in Shorty George - not good a little bit remiss execution and here Betty Hutton - not so great as Astaire but very fine, with good hands and head movement and enthusiasm.
She was a one-woman army of awesome. I always thought she would've worked well with Danny Kaye; they had such similar performance abilities.
The way she's breathing is part of the act
This is from the movie "Let's Dance" (1950).
"LET'S DANCE" (Paramount, 1950)
Hahaha good memory!!
blody hell's , it's women!!!! i discove and i'm in love !!!
Where did all of that energy come from?
Where can you see them? In case you're interested, they're much more visible in "The Miracle of Morgan's Creek".

Veikko Suvanto That film is a riot! Especially the ending with the two dictators upset that an American had quintuplets. Trump demands a recount.
This clip is from _what_ 1950s musical starring _what_ 'legendary screen actor'? Is it a secret?
I'd like to hear you sing all that without taking some deep breaths. Sheesh! It's a comedy song.
Never mind, the movie's called Let's Dance. (Thank you google!)
awesome! lol " Can you please stop talking about him talking about him talking about him?" "I can't stop talking about him talking about him talking about him." "Then don't talking about him talking about him talking about him." "I won't stop talking about him talking about him talking about him." *grabs hand and drags him in to the middle of the stage* " Can't stop talking about him talking about him talking about him." lol
sorry my mistake the person below is right its on amazon on vhs for about 9.00
Betty sure could sing up a storm. A memorable moment for her fans is in _Annie Get Your Gun_ (see kzread.info/dash/bejne/hZiNw5mucdOoXag.html ) for her show-stopper, _I Got The Sun In The Morning..._ That Irving Berlin number gets an amazing band arrangement from the MGM orchestra.
Let's Dance from 1950.
!!!
Le gana a eminen
I did try and find in on e-bay but Let's dance wouldn't pop up?
What Musical is this from?? Let's Dance?
Does anyone know where i can find a copy of this video?
Played 0:35 - 0:40 at .5 speed and now I'm going to have nightmares.
it's from let's dance, if nobody has answered that question. not much reason to see it other than this number.
Does anyone know what movie this is from? Is "Boy Them Dudes" (also with Astaire) from this movie as well?
The comedic talent of Lucille Ball except Betty could also sing and dance.🙂❤️
wat movie is this?
What do you mean by leg and back muscles?
Why don't you use FRED ASTAIRE's name is this. The movie is Let's Dance; 1950. Dont' be so vague in your description. It's not just some movie from the 50's with a legendary actor.
so....what's the name of this musical?

Danny Kaye is the male version of Betty Hutton! Haha!
The just do not make good, quality, decent, family friendly entertainment like this anymore. This stuff will most likely fade out with my generation - the last of the baby boomer.
9 guys hehe can stop talking about him
I'm scared O_O
her eyes xD
Fred Astaire...?

No wonder Astaire despised her. Sheesh, what a pain. No wonder she was out of the business three years after this film...

Would love for you to produce a reliable source where he ever expressed that sentiment. In fact, after filming this movie he was quoted as saying "Working with Betty Hutton keeps anybody moving. She's so talented and conscientious that if you don't watch yourself you feel you're standing still and letting her do all the work."
yes women always talk about there boyfriend ... women wow come one there more to talk about then that... she so right ....!!!! HAHAHA
