I discovered Little Jimmy was a popular comic strip character back then and this was basically his shtick. He’d be sent out on an important errand, and then get distracted by something and promptly forget about the whole thing. I think the kid has a serious case of ADD :p

A few more details; the comic strip he was in lasted from 1904 to 1958, and it was created by Jimmy Swinnerton. This is Little Jimmy's only episode with Betty Boop, though. Oh well. He's not to be confused with Betty's Nephew, Junior.

Obesity *IS* a killer. You know Robert Gibbs who was on Dr. Phil's show when Robert was about 760 pounds? He did lose weight and gain back and lose, then he died of covid in 2020 when he was 32 - but his obesity couldn't have helped. And how about Teddy Brown, famous Xylophonist? Died 3 weeks before his 46th birthday, in 1946. There's *REASON* why people *should* have a healthy level of hatred for *obesity,* while not hating fat or obese people.

There's a limit to fatness, because obesity *kills people,* gives them health issues, and shortens lifespans. There's also a limit to being too thin, it's also just as bad.
