One of my favorite bands in high school... My dad works for the newspaper and he got their cd in a press package... it got sent my way... I got really into them... I got my friends into them... then she died... thats rock...

Hey...I know this comment is MAD OLD...(12 years haha!)...but I saw that yer dad receives press packages for the newspaper he works at... this comment obviously stood out to me immediately... curiosity’s got me wondering what paper he works for and how and why was a Butt Trumpet (sorry...I guess likely Betty Blowtorch by this point) CD thrown his and the newspaper’s way? The only reason I ask is because the band is/was pretty dark and underground (at least they were circa 1993ish or 94ish they opened for FEAR @ The Limelight NYC). They broke up onstage that very night in front of us... Just thinking about how obscure they pretty much are/were...does your father work for a smaller or less mainstream paper? Not tryna be too intrusive just insanely curious about this event...I know it’s gone sound clićhe AF but I’ve got punx rock coursing through my veins so I basically live off of discussing this type of shit...haha! Oh then through my dumb curiosity and excitement I just now saw “and then she died...” so now I know it’s Bianca Butthole and you’re referring to Betty Blowtorch... both great bands...

@@michaelshields9087 Uhm they played Warped tour in 2001 my friend i saw them with Rancid H20 an Bouncing souls etc check for yourself At Post Pavilion Pittsburgh Pa .Betty Blowtorch tours & concert list along with photos, videos, and setlists ... Vans Warped Tour on Jul 17, 2001 [ December 15, 2001, lead singer and bassist Bianca Halstead (Butthole) was killed in a car crash while on tour in New Orleans. The remaining group members disbanded. i went down on you, and many chunks i spewed. man i miss butt trumpet.......Betty Blowtorch is equally awesome i just kinda grew up listening to trumpet and is more partial is all.....

It astounds me as I read the comments on the BB vids, that there is hardly mention of what a kick a** lead guitar player Blare is. She is f'n amazing.

I first heard this song back in 95.. Heard it on WTOS out of Maine. When they aired it they stated it was the Butt Trumpets. In fact I downloaded the MP3 and it was the Butt Trumpets.

sharon needles was the real talent of this band, she sang, played guitar and also played bass guitar.

yahh the original band had a male singer, this was the first song that was ever put on radio by them

Do you know where Heidi Weller & Danny Irving are now? Married perhaps?

Original was much better but this is okay too.

FYI- Charles Manson died early today on 11-21-2017! The dude had extreme issues too. More extreme than Betty Blowtorch.

The original version by Butt Trumpet is better than this one... great track though.
