Currently shopping for irons, glad I have not bought yet. Love your review brother! makes me want to test these out. Looking at the combo set and 1600 is standard for most irons on the market is seems like.

I hit both the MB and CB today at my local Club Champion. I am an eight handicap and was pleasantly surprised that I hit the MB better than the CB with the same shaft. The MB was longer, more accurate, had higher spin, and a better decent angle to stop the ball on the green. The CB felt good, and the MB felt great. I averaged 174 yards carry with the CB 6 iron and 180 yards with the MB.

Anything close to the performance of Bettinardi putters makes these irons delicious to play with. They make out-of-this-world putters.

Bettinardi is based in Tinley Park, Illinois, and mills its putters in-house. I'm not 100% sure where the forging is done for the irons, but I would suspect it is in Asia.

The MB is much longer. Why?

In reality, the average distance was about the same, but on one or two shots with the MB I pulled the ball left, which adds distance. I should have been more clear on that, but the videos drags and gets too long when I over-explain stuff like that. Both clubs sent 7-irons between 145 and 150 for me. - DD

If we're being honest, there are only so many ways to make a muscleback blade that good ballstrikers will play. - DD
