    Chemical engg here: there's literally no point of putting olive oil into a solution of soap & water. If you look at the basics of how soap molecules work - one end of the molecule is hydrophilic (attracted to water) & the other end is hydrophobic (attracted to anything but water). The hydrophobic end of the soap molecule attaches itself to oil & other unwanted particles & remove them. In short, putting olive oil into dish soap solution will cause the soap to just start working on the olive oil & it will do nothing for your beauty blender, brushes or skin. Just a waste of olive oil :/

  • @ameliabuzby
    @ameliabuzby Жыл бұрын

    Guys, just to clarify, never never never use dish soap to clean your beauty blender or anything that comes in direct contact with your face. It can very easily cause dermatitis and you may end up having a pretty big reaction to it. Also, adding olive oil does nothing to benefit the cleaning of your beauty blender, so it’s a waste. When oil is added to water, it stays separate from the water and doesn’t mix. The soap you add with start to attract to the oil instead of the water, making the wash take longer and be less efficient. Hope this helps! 😊

    If you put olive oil in it Its just gonna get really oily and no 1 wants that so in the easier way to do 'It's just get hot water and baking soda and dish soap and put the dish soap in the hot water on top of the sponges and then put the baking soda on and it cleans it much better than this and it's much easier and it gives it better sent hope this helps😄😄
