Alan Watts died at 58 and struggled with alcohol for a good portion of his adult life. Forget about what is better, deeply feel what is best. Seek a long life filled with doing uncomfortable things (not drudgery) half the time, and the other half doing the things you love. That is the best scenario to have the longest most prosperous happy amd peaceful life.

I feel like I disagree to an extent. Is not wasting your whole life and doing things you dont like doing to get money. I see it more like doing the things you dont like (in my case studying) for couple years to later life the rest of my life with a job i enjoy and then the money comes alone, instead of “not chasing the money”.
