Welcome back, everyone!
Join us for another episode of our "Honeymoon Diaries" series, where we take you along on our month-long adventure through South Korea and Japan. In this episode, we embark on the next leg of our journey as we travel from Busan to Osaka!
Day 1:
It’s time to leave Busan and head to Japan! We take the Queen Beetle ferry from Busan Port to Fukuoka in the afternoon. It was an amazing trip, but thank god for the motion sickness pill and the unlimited lemonades because the sea was acting up. From Fukuoka, we hop on the Shinkansen to Osaka, our first destination in Japan!
Day 2:
After the long trip, we decided it was time to relax, so we found a cute head spa called Private Salon Owl-Spa and both got a full treatment. It’s fantastic, and the owner is so nice, communicating with us through a translator app. For lunch, we discover a charming ramen place called Vegan Ramen by Playpen Friends, serving us our first ramen in Japan, and it’s delicious! We end the day with a stroll through Shinsaibashi Big Step in America Town, where we play many crane machines and even manage to win! We also try to buy shaka-shaka fries from McDonald's but hilariously forget the fries, ending up with just a paper bag and a packet of seasoning.
Day 3:
For our third day in Osaka, we book a private tour for five hours, the best decision to see as much of Osaka as possible in a limited amount of time. We meet outside our Airbnb and head to Osaka Castle, soaking in the city’s history along the way. After visiting Osaka Castle, we explore Shinsaibashi, Shinsaibashi Big Step, Daikoku Bridge, Dotonbori Hotel, Dotonbori, TARO's PARLOR, and Sennichimae Doguyasuji. Our tour guide concludes the tour in DenDen Town, showing us some great spots and giving us advice on what else to visit.
