I have Asperger’s syndrome, I can relate to that, but it wasn’t religion that help me through the years of being looked at as an annoying person on the planet. It was my family that helped me and something inside me that helped me survive all the mental torment. I was close of losing my insanity, but it was something inside me that helped me fight my battles. My spirit and that’s the one thing they can’t break. My fighting spirit just like my family.

GOD is the proper word not god as "god" refers to man-made sculptures or whatever idol it is, example of it is Tree, water, rock, sun, moon that ancient people or indigenous people of the present worship as they believe there is a higher being and they're right, there is GOD unfortunately, they believed and worshipped wrong, since they believed at the thing not Him

This is the most biblically accurate song I have heard from a movie. It reminds me of the book of Job. Excellent song.

This song right here is the definition of what it means to truly surrender your life to God and have him be the one that leads your path. Many times when we try to go our own paths, we end up failing and have unfortunate things happen to us both physically and emotionally. Why? Because we don't let God be the one that leads us. That's why we as humans sometimes tend to fail. I know I've made that mistake before where "I thought I chose the surest road" only to have ended up with many disappointments in life. Things the could have been avoided but I learned that the hard way, unfortunately.

I'm having hard time emotionally here in South Korea, studying for entrance exam for pharm school. I've been putting all my effort to get prepared for this test and it has passed almost one year, but every time I take mock exams these days, I feel like I'm not going to make it. And I've totally lost hope recently, just lying on my bed being depressed and don't know what to do for the last two weeks. I think what I need to do at this moment is totally surrender my life to God and just do what I can do for last two weeks, no matter which result he will give it to me. Even though he does not lead me to go to pharm school, I want to keep faith in him.

@@har5745 If you care about getting into that school, then so does God, because He cares about you and everything you do. He will always give you the strength to do that which you want to accomplish. Always ask God for strength, because it says in the Bible "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." If that's your dream then, as long as you honor God, He will honor you in your studies. He will open doors for you. He will grant your hearts desires as long as you seek Him and put Him first in everything you do. If He doesn't want you there, whether you are a genius or not, then those doors won't open. Just remember to ask God for guidance. And also ask God to give you rest and ease, it's what's needed in times like this. Trust me, He knows better than us. Good luck and keep me updated. 😊

I'm in a hard time rn. My mom was hospitalized, my dad doesn't help & doesn't work. I have essentially bcm the breadwinner of family of five. Every time i wanted to give up, i play this song so I remember that God has a plan for me. I hope this difficult situation is over soon.

@@dark_sammie my mom is thankfully doing better, tho my dad is not, & my boss decided she won't renew my contract next year but still worked me like a damn horse, i am getting yelled at every day but seeing my sis doing well in her studies & my bro finally got a job is very fulfilling.

It's not just the song... It's the message-God has a role for all of us. Whatever pain, strife, and challenge He puts you through is neseessary for you to grow and become what you were meant to be. Your faith in His Plans for you will guide you through it, even if you can't see or understand it...

I’m going through the roughest time in my life right now! So many odds are against me, I listen to this song every night with my 8 month old baby laying on my chest praying & crying with this song on repeat until I fall asleep! This song is so anointed! The words ALONE are powerful!!! No matter what we do “in this lifetime”. It’s all unaccounted for, if we think for one second God is not in control of it! I love this amazing song and how it talks about God Almighty and how as humans we aren't perfect and God's ways are so much better than our own. He truly knows better than I.

I remember as a child I memorised this song and up until now, I still know it word for word 😌 And the voice behind the track is beautiful.....David did a Marvelous work.

I have religious trauma and I developed PTSD. However, two of my favorite movies are the Prince of Egypt and Joseph: King of Dreams This song always makes me feel like even though the hardships of my life exist, I can still get through it. It’s like if God is really out there (whoever that is) then it’s like God’s reaching out to me and telling me I’m doing okay right where I am. Sorry for the lengthy comment!! I just saw how wholesome everyone was being and I really wanted to share 🤍 :)

I so loved this movie and Prince of Egypt when I was a kid, and I still do. I wish they would make another like them telling of the Life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

I remember even crying hearing this as a child. Seeing this movie gives such strength and so does this song.

Even as a non religious person, I truly enjoy this song!

Me too. I have not really put much stock in religion, but one thing I believe in is people. That they can do good when they have the right people to support them and guide them. That despite the worst actions and harshest tragedies humanity has been put through, we can try to move the world towards a better future.

This was my childhood, and it's still one of the best movies in my heart.

Watching Joseph reminisce on his life and take care of that tree was beautiful. This song made it even better. It made me realize that it’s not the destination that matters in life, it’s the journey.

I felt like that I was useless under pandemic COVID-19 😷. I pray to God for the guidance to be patient. He listens and he’s right next to me that I can make it through after pandemic COVID-19 dies out

Favourite song of all time, I listen to it everyday, and it has actually helped me during difficult times in my life, it's helped me remain positive and have strong faith in God.

I was raised Christian/Catholic as a child and this movie was a big part of my growing up. I'm an Atheist now, but this movie and Prince of Egypt are some of the few things I still hold onto. This song is truly gorgeous and it makes me believe for a second that there might be a God up there somewhere.

As a young man who nearly abandoned his own faith during college, your comment makes me sad because there IS a God out there, and he WILL reveal himself to you if you seek him earnestly. And I just said a prayer for you also, a total stranger on the internet, because you cannot have peace as an atheist and I know this, and I truly want you to be convinced in your heart that God is alive and working, and that he cares for you more than you could possibly know.

Blessed be the name of YHWH, and his ever expansive knowledge. And blessed is he for having a plan for be through it all. Truly, he knows better than I.

This life is a struggle. And so many times it’ll leave us confused wondering why LORD? But like the word of God says “But without Faith it is impossible to please Him, For he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder to them that diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 keep the Faith He knows better. 🙏🏽

Joseph one of god's child have been gifted of a versions and messages within dreams. but thanks for the fact he has been spoiled as a heaven child. it build his ego and that ego blinded him. and that one dream showed a message of that ego. and so karma got to him and he blames god for his own actions. and this song tells he realized god made him better than this. he's meant to be much more then himself. and rest of the movie is him learning a lesson. and the movies gives a message. if you make a mistake in your life you can fix it. it's never to late.
