i have never learned so much about hard tops as a wrangler owner…. love the bronco but i’ve never had an issue with the hardtops

I fully appreciate the strength of your hard top by removing the capability of removing of the rear seat roof. However I have no desire to remove the rear cargo roof do to the weigh and additional time and effort to remove the cargo top. However, I do love and want to be able remove more roof then just the front row. I want to be able to remove the second row seat roof as well. Because that is my most important feature, I am willing to sacrifice all the the benefits that your hard top provides.

Thanks for sharing. Very informational. I currently have the Bestop Trektop (replaced OEM soft top). I will be purchasing this hard top once I pay off my Bronco.

I said it last week, and I will say it again now. "FORD and its top maker WEBASTO SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!" For putting this crap on top of this SUV. You guys keep doing these videos to humiliate the "HELL" out of both of these companies. And you sell tons of them because the price is right and the quality superior. Paying north of $45,000 for an SUV with a top that could be sold at Walmart.

Here's a question was wondering if your hardtop is compatible with the best top sunrider, and if it is maybe y'all could do a video showing the compatibility

We are very confident that it will work. We reached out to there team to get a demo unit but still waiting for a response from them.

Hah, thanks for the video, the section view of the tops was pretty eye-opening. I get from a marketing perspective why you say what you say, but there's no point in sugarcoating it - there is absolutely a winner & a loser here. Ford should not have used an open-cell membrane as filler. I hope you will eventually do an acoustical test between your top, OEM soft & hard top, and maybe even another 3rd party top like Bestop, as I think most people care a lot about acoustics (especially in the short run).

When will inventory stock be available? Would rather wait till stock availability comes online rather than preorder. Assuming it wont always be 12 week leadtimes on ordering?

If I had known, I would have bought the soft top and wait for your hard top to be available... Dammit, wasted money!

How heavy is the top. Can I remove it by myself or do I need a machine to life and store it?

You can remove it by youself with a lift. If you are lifting by hand then we recommend 2 people.

Is it safe to say, the insulation and sound quality are better with this roof?

Yes, we will post the sound comparison between our roof + the soft top this Tuesday and then our roof and the OEM top on 6/20/23.

there is a 3 decibel difference in interior sound between an OEM vs AFC..this is not a significant difference to the human ear!!

@@markdiloreto9042 A 3 dB change yields a 100% increase in sound energy and just over a 23% increase in loudness. So, yes it is actually a significant difference.

Sure is! We would recommend ordering the "High Build Primer" option.

I need it :/ my soft top is already showing some age after less than a year.

How heavy is it and does it need to be stored a certain way?

We are about 10-15% heavier than the OEM top. You can store it fully assembly or fully disassembled.

I love all the technology and upgrade yall use on yall top, the only thing that stops me from upgrading my top is the angle on the back, I know it’s design to line up with the panel but the bronco is so squared, I consider aesthetically rather have it straight

We went with the slanted rear to follow the lines of the old school broncos (66-77)

Great video. No doubt your engineering is superior and you guys put a huge amount into R&D.... However, for a say $50K Bronco, paying about $7K for one of your fully optioned roofs which is about 14% of the vehicle cost doesn't equate in my brain. I have a soft top 4dr badlands and while the soft top is super fun in the summer, I'd like to get a hardtop for extended road trips with a roof rack etc etc. For me and a quick made-up market survey, I think me and my Bronco colleagues would keep you in business until retirement with a $1850-$3000 price point. Sorry, just saying before all the folks with 3D printers and other innovation compete with you guys. Again, great engineering, so thx but I'm waiting.

Our hardtops start at $5,250. If you compare what a factory hardtop costs from a dealership ($10-$16k) then you will see that ours is a bargain. Appreciate the compliment on our engineering!

I would agree with you about the price point you mention setting them up for life lol but he’s playing the current market. Why work harder to shell out more tops at a lower profit line per top? The price can always readjust later as the market adjusts. Work smarter not harder.

I wish Ford would offer a “no top” option so people could just go straight to the aftermarket instead of wasting money on this crap. Using cardboard in a hard top is just sad.

There is a clear winner here, your top. But you kind of cheapen it and ruin credibility by jumping up and down on the mounting point for the hard top. That specific point is made to take load. Even on the OEM. Saying that your roof is better suited for a tent is dishonest when last time i checked a tent mounts to the roof rack (over the back roll bar) not the hardtop itself. You may have the better product but telling a half truth works against your credibility. Is your product really all you say?

Yes the tents mount to the roof rack which then mounts to the hardtop itself. The weight is distributed from the sides of the hardtop to the bedrail of the bronco. There is no reason to stand in the center of the hardtop since the load ratings are meant for the roof rack locations.
