They should've never given Steelix Breaking Swipe- that way they wouldn't have to nerf it and make Hax basically unplayable.

@@D-S-G. It does, but BS (pre-nerf) was such a nasty move for Steelix due it's immense bulk.

Honestly, despite the nerf to breaking swipe, I’d say that Mud Slap still makes Rhyperior pretty damn viable nowadays.

The only pokemon affected by breaking swipe nerf was Rayquaza because it was so heavily reliant on it due to how glassy it is and how much energy the other alternative is in Dragon Ascent. It sucks because people spent money to get a viable one during GoFest only for Niantic to throw it back in their faces

I’m right there with you man. I got a perfect iv Ray decided to get the go fest ticket to grind out and max it and it became my go to mon for master league. The nerf has made it so much worse. I’ve decided to never spend money on the game again because this truly feels terrible.

Steelix isn't bad in UL because it got nerfed, it's bad because 10/10 teams are running poliwrath.

Pvpoke calculates there is no debuff of first breaking swipe. I think this is the reason that steelix’s rank is lower than we thought

There will probably an event in the future to do with necrozma and cosmog maybe, so it’s probably worth waiting for

My one wish is for Niantic to bring back ML Classic. Because I'm FTP, I know for a fact I will never be able to compete in regular ML.

OMG. So there is someone else that hates routes. You’re so right Jonkus, it is the literal worst addition to the game. So frustrating and time consuming. I will never ever get enough cells to get the full form of that stupid Pokemon. I was trying for sure and I would do 3 routes in a day and get 0 cells or maybe 1. 😡
