I don't have a Huawei phone but have been happy with my Huawei Smartwatches. For me the battery life is the absolute key consideration. I cannot do daily charging when i travel. too much range anxiety

@@HS-zv3mo I’m using Apple Watch Ultra, and need to charge it every 2days, it just killed me when I go on camping or something.

Watch Fit 1 user here, and it's awesome. It only has one button (defaults to main menu), which is great when the screen is wet and unresponsive. The addition of the wheel in the WF3 feels extraneous to me, since you can scroll using the screen. It's also an additional protrusion that takes space on the wrist. But, it might be a boon when trying to scroll in a wet situation. Love the GPS of my WF1, its sleep tracking, accurate heart rate monitor, handy stopwatch / countdown timer. I even use the flashlight feature occasionally, and it's very useful. I don't miss calls in noisy environments when my phone is not in my pocket, because the watch vibrates on my wrist. I can read SMS on it, quicker than checking on the phone. So much convenience in a cheap device.

Have a Huawei GT runner for almost a year now and love it. Before that a used a Honor band 5 for more than 4 years. It still works and even the battery life is still awesome.

On a serious note, I love my Huawei band 7. Great battery life, great screen, super lightweight.

I've used & had no real issues with my Huawei Band 4, 5, & 6. I skipped the 7, and now have the Huawei Band 8. Only problems that I have with the Band 8 is that the touchscreen can be a bit temperamental if you don't tap the EXACT SPOT that the screen wants you to tap... And also, the sleep tracker is the worst of every Huawei Band that I've used. It's fairly accurate (when it works 🙄)... But sometimes it totally skips over times when I am actually sleeping 😴, and tells me that I wasn't sleeping, when i actually was 🤷🏼‍♂️. Was hoping it would get fixed wit a firmware update by now... But no such luck yet 🤦🏼‍♂️. The band you're reviewing here is a larger version of the Band 8, but with a few more functions. I honestly don't see it as being worth $100 more than a Huawei Band 8. Great review. The coupon doesn't work for me. It says unavailable. I have the fit 2 and the sensors have received a top review from the quantified scientist. I need his review of the sensors before I upgrade to the fit 3.

What countries have Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis enabled? When I go on Croatian Watch Fit 3 page there's no mention of it so I guess it's not enabled. Is there a way to enable it?

Awesome video, i got one and i am gobsmacked how well it works! Beautiful bright screen, snappy with zero lag & build quality is impressive. Its a complete apple knockoff looks- wise but for $250AU - its an absolute bargain. FYI my crown works perfectly so you might have a dodgy unit. Health app is in the samsung store now ✌️

It does not work in apple applications, It has its own app. If you want that then get an apple watch!

Hi. Does the rollerblade mode track the route via GPS? Is it possible to lock the screen?

It's slightly like my AmazeFit GTS2e. Which was chosen for the shape and battery life.

You'll never get that sort of information from tech spurt since he doesn't test those. Quantified Scientist is the only guy putting smart watches to the test in standardized tests. Those are by far the best videos on watches

Looks interesting ,I have a galaxy watch ( free with phone ) but the battery life is so annoying at 24 hrs at best ,coming from someone who had a smart band that lasted 2 weeks.The battery life here seems better and makes it worth considering a swap

you should review the ft8 pro. It is by far my favourite watch and takes after the ultra 2 from apple but cost me 40$ 💀

Huawei Fit 2 were decent, but also super disappointing software-wise, bought them after hearing how they plan to support their OS properly with Store and apps and 2 years later still waiting for any decent app to appear there...

Three very important questions 1) Has the vibration improved compared to the previous model? 2) Is the vibration of the Watch Fit 3 similar to the apple watch? 3) Has the ability to set more than one timer been added?

Love this review.. got apple ultra it’s nothing to write home about.. battery life is 2 days whoooo 😏

You should. just sold mine a couple of days ago to get a Huawei GT 4 but this thing came up and is a lot better than GT 4 if you're not looking into a longer battery life. Fit 3 is essentially a square version of the GT 4. The Redmi Watch 4 is nothing compared to Fit 3

Note for anyone who doesn't like proprietary straps: if a watch gets popular enough there's a good chance a 3rd party company will make some form of adapter that will allow you to attach a standard strap (like a 22mm strap) to the watch. The only drawback with those adapters is that they can't really be built in a way that doesn't add length to the watch's arms (or whatever you call the parts that the strap attaches to; I'm a bit clueless on watch part terminology) but I've found this to be a minor issue in most cases.

This form factor with Wear OS and I'm sold. Looking to upgrade my original Tizen Galaxy Watch 46mm but with no 3rd party app support I can't bring myself to do it.

I got the watch fit 2 is this worth the upgrade?
