1:35 the fishes swimming pattern, they tagged it, it got spooked from the whole experience and b lined it to Colombia until it felt safe again or just forgot about it and instinctively cruised its way back to Panama.

Commendations for this essential release. Only by releasing the large fish among the marlin species will we have anything left for anyone even to see in another fifty years. By most measures, these fish are far more spectacular and beautiful than man will ever be. The human ego cannot be contained.

Thank you! If people want to put a trophy on the wall, they should take pictures and measurements and any good taxidermist will build a replica. Frankly, people shouldn't eat top predatory fish at all.The amount of bio accumulation of mercury and other toxins at the top of the food web make it a poor choice. Not to mention the ecological energetics of eating top predators. Great video!

Please leave those great animals alone, you do not need to kill a marlin. There are plenty of food fish to catch and eat, Marlin is not a food fish why kill them, it's criminal.
