I bought the 'medium' size (10" size) of Knipex Pliers at Home Depot (they only have that one size on display in the store). I bought one and I liked it so much that I bought a second one. Then I noticed that the handle of the tool is great for when you want to apply a lot of torque to a nut/bolt (the way an adjustable wrench would), but when you only want to apply a bit of torque, the handles are a bit too long, so I took one of the wrenches and I cut off 3" of each handle, now it's perfect. Its now like the 7.25" set that Knipex already sells.

Likely more; can't really recall when I bought them. If you read the comments here, the tool guys all own Knipex pliers. As this was new to you, then you are most certainly not in the tool community, which begs the question as to why you decided to respond to my comment. This could have gone so differently. Apparently, the host of this channel also has a much bigger knife making channel and this is his personal space. Fair enough. Had he said that, everything would have been clear. But that's not what he did, after showing us his brand spankin' new plier wrenches and talking to us as if we're ignorant as to the tool and its advantages, when it's brutally obvious that it's pretty new to him.

@@bornwithawoodenleg Forgive me, I mod for a number of tool channels and have never seen your name. Not something I'd forget. Using myself as an example, my plier wrenches are at least a decade old.
Knlpex has a hard K like in cool 😉
I know a joke about a monkey wranch.

Hey, I have a great idea! Let’s argue about how to pronounce an odd word on the internet!! I couldn’t think of a better way we could spend our time!
Ze Germans pronounce it Kuh-knee-pex.
