Wish everyone would not just focus on Sung Kang and his character, even if his character here is actually the same one in TF&TF: Tokyo Drift. All the other actors were really great. This movie is very surreal and has very emotional scenes. Never seen anything like it.

I don't know if you've ever seen this movie? but it gets very depressing towards the end. When your a 17 year old kid and you've just gotten hyped off X-men then watch this, lets just say its not a good feeling.

Watching this and seeing that Han gets a film to show fans what his life was like before joining the fast family means me was the most important character after Dom and Brian with Han the fast saga wouldn’t be the same!

I really enjoyed this movie. Its a very original take on the teen genre. I never looked at nerdy kids the same way again after watching this. Usually, in feel-good teen movies, the main characters would be the pussies being pushed around by these blond-headed quarterback star player who drive their daddy's viper going to school. This movie tells you that looks are deceiving. The skinny kid who got straight As in math will kill you and bury you ass in your front lawn if you piss him off.

Han Seoul Oh is the first incarnation of Han Solo. He's also Han from Fast and the furious. This is about Han before he met Bryan and Dom.

Both are made by the same director, it's not uncommon for directors and script writers to re use characters if they think they would fit in something new. I don't think the 2 movies would be connected officially, but the fandom likes to think so, so that's fine by me. Still pretty cool that this movie even exists, I had no idea about it until I was looking on IMDB lmao

I loved this movie so much as a kid thay my "sign-off" is still "Study Hard 🤘" after all these years

I wonder how many kids in the comment section even stopped to consider or even know that this movie was actually inspired by a real murder that happened in the Asian community in Southern California back in the early 1990s.

This was Han lue before he became FUCKING COOL AND A BAD ASS PART TO THE FAST FRANCHISE. I have to watch this when i get the time. (p.s. Han lue was cool before).

Yeah, its not your typical High school flick where the nerdy kid who is always bullied by the football star learns to fight back near the end of the movie, and gets to kiss the most popular girl in school. This movie was just fucked up. Even a dorky little dweeb will dismember you and dump your body parts in an oil drum filled with concrete, if you piss him off that bad. Looks can really deceive us.

I learned about the movie from a podcast too. But it was Sung's own podcast. He has a KZread channel called Sung's Garage and that's where he uploads his podcasts.
