When I clean a room like yours I first get all the trash out. Then any large furniture out of the space. I’d line bins in a row labeled keep, donate and sell. Once a bin is full I remove it from the room. Organize, edit and repeat until the room is clear. Removing the large items gives you a sense of accomplishment that keeps you motivated. This process has never failed me. Just my two cents 😊❤️

This is exactly how I think. There are many ways to describe my thinking. I just call it anal! Organize, pay attention to detail and then pay attention to detail some more. That sense of accomplishment you get really goes a long way. It makes me want to keep on working and I can envision what it will look like when done and gives me a warm feeling donating to help others.
The green Pyrex set is like the one I got as a wedding gift in 1978. Still use it everyday.

Omg me too
Oh my days that’s my kind of glass !! My dad was a collector before he passed away and I love it so much !!
That mug has the Serenity Prayer on it - popular with us AA people!!!
❤️You are a breath of fresh air. I’m disabled and so enjoy once again strolling through shops with you looking for a treasure. Thank you for sharing and taking me along. Peace, love and compassion for you and your family. ❤️
I love the “tango” glass bowl…beautiful! And the lamp…Amazing! 🤤
My mother loved glassware. And she also knew what would be good flips. Good hobby for her she was home bound with my dad. She had some booths around town. That did well too.I wish I would have known how to do ebay
01:20 I like the look of the four beer flutes. 02:46 Either that or she's signaling a right turn. 02:55 Yer right. That booth's a lot more to my taste than to yours. 😃 18:28 I would try the curb first, long as there's no rain in the forecast for a few days. In my neighborhood, you can put almost ANYthing on the curb and a scavenger will take it. 20:18 Goat slippers! 22:39 I don't think it's real 19th-century. It feels pastiche-y.

You should check this place out the next time you visit! It’s not too far from Carlisle.
So glad you found the house u wanted. The trains would have done it for me. I have lived in Iowa and now Michigan, both trains of plenty. The lonely distant cry of a train, always makes think of the so many places to see yet! 💞🧜♀️💞
Loved the 3rd floor room as I’m pretty sure those videos of working up there during the lock down were how KZread algorithm “matched” us up. I think it was the word organization.
Looking forward to the “sold” follow up for this video.
Oh, my gosh!!! That was just one beautiful piece, after another. I know, $1,200 is spendy but… wow…in light of everything there, you showed incredible restraint. Thanks for the shop along, Jocelyn. Absolutely incredible trip.💜
I love going to the third floor and your shop videos - who am I kidding, I love all your videos!!!
I vote to upholster the comfy chair! Hard to find a comfy chair especially with sentimental value. Good luck that could be a video onto itself… selection of fabric is important.

I'd just put a lovely blanket over it and enjoy 😉
I am so thrilled that you’re taking the corner shelf to your office. I can’t wait to see all the beautiful glass on it, against the black wall :)
Hi Jocelyn, I work at South Mall Mercantile on Lehigh Street in Allentown, PA and have been watching your great youtube videos for the last few years. 80 venders are here and we are near Weils Antiques. Great prices here. Stop by and say hi! Carolyn
I watch all of your videos. I’m sorry that I don’t comment very much. I have learned so much from you. I can’t wait to see the items in the corner of the 3rd floor room. That green lamp with the double tiered fiberglass lamp shade is amazing. Stay safe and God Bless
Simple drum style shade in off white raw silk will elevate the value. Generally the shade is worth 25 percent of the total. The right designer could get 7 to 8 hundred dollars. As for your chair, you have to decide how much of a labor of love is going to cost you. Weight your options. Reupholstry can get expensive. A chair that size will be 6 to 8 hundred dollars just for labor, then you have to add the price of the fabric. If you decide to go ahead and do it, the better upholsterers are anywhere from 16 to 26 weeks out. Ask yourself if getting rid of the chair is going to change your memories and the way you feel about this man.

It belonged to someone very close to her, it is the sentimental value that is her incentive to keep it and have it redone.

@@Veronica-xc8cv I realize that, but there are still options that need to be considered. I thought I made that clear
Miss Jocelyn went high dollar today! Bought some beautiful high end pieces. It's impressive how much yours & Andrews business has grown! I'm watching you older videos and can see the growth! That dragon is gorgeous would definitely sell boo boo and all if you are willing to sell it. How do you determine what to keep for resale, dispersed vs what gets trashed? Good luck on your continued house hunting!

I love the Capidimonte chandelier so much!
Hoarder House Part 50! 🤣 I kid....I kid
Jocelyn, you have a knack for finding gorgeous pieces.
We used to make those card baskets in Girl Scouts....quite some time ago.
I was amazed at how much you were able to clear away on your 3rd floor! It looked great when you ended the video. 🙂 I always enjoy all your videos, no matter what the topic is! 😊
Put a crazy quilt on the chair. It matches everything! I have a crazy collection.
You hustle so much, you know what sells go for it! Keep looking for a new home for your family. Imagine the videos that could come out of that too.
Love that red tumble up and purple swan. I have a room in my basement that is a mess and you're inspiring me to get down there and organize!! Thanks Jocelyn!!
0.54 The big pink floral lamp is to die for..And that purple Swan..And those lamps at 7.22/fairylight and the Pink Murano♡ Uugghhh I love that store!😍 That Cappadomante Chandelier in your room is amazing as well♡

If you put the time in as 0:54 & 7:22. When you touch it on the screen, it takes you to that time in the video.
Love the tango bowl. Wow!!
I'm just so crazy about Tango glass. That orange is so luscious! You got some gorgeous pieces, with some good discounts. Sometimes you have those days you must spend money to make money when you come upon such quality items. Back at your home... oh, that big pine cone lamp is an eye popper! 😻🐆💗😎
So glad you had such a positive experience ! Was there in December and was treated VERY RUDELY by a staff member who was upset by new check out system. Forced to walk away from a large sale. Cried the entire way home!!

1:53 has an Otagiri or Takahari house. Most likely Otagiri. Those are some of my favorite things to collect.

Wow! You had some fun there!
Had a nice time with cleaning and showing us the different things
Hope you find just the right house. Thanks for taking us along on your shopping trip.
Beautiful items and good progress upstairs! Praying you find a great home to buy! ❤️
Good for you. I thought it was going to be so much more, with the beautiful pieces you purchased. Great discounts.
Beautiful items purchased this trip.
Wow!! Your shopping!! I can see you are doing great for your business❣️😆✨ I couldn’t believe it you still had that carnival glass bowl! I watched it on your video two years ago!
That gold glass lamp at the end was THE BOMB. Loved all your picks!
Ooh! That was a fun shopping spree!
Yes make sure it's a house you are very happy with don't Seattle for anything else Thankyou so much for another awesome shopping trip
That was pretty cool. I really enjoyed hearing about what was intended, why things weren't completed, and the sorting logic. I think everyone has those conversations in our had when decluttering a space.
Beautiful glass ware. I'm learning so much from you. Thankyou. Adelaide Australia
Omg,that huge lamp with the flowers on the first table, was amazing! The Murano bowl with the red edging and the gold flakes is stunning❣️So is the little red bowl with the Millefiori❣️And the piece for your own collection…and then…the vase with the snails!!So amazing beautiful❣️🥰 The lamp…wow❣️
Jocelyn... my mantra “I just haven’t gotten around to it yet”....hummmm.
House hunting will be so much fun. Your houses there are amazing.
Good luck with your house hunt! Maybe you'll find something with the perfect shop space as a bonus!
Wow 120 on the green Pyrex. I was lucky I found it for 35 at an antique fair
Where has Erik been? I miss his lovely treasures, knowledge & your friendship.
I used to pick up carnival glass years ago for next to nothing. I still can't believe how much it's going for today. I have boxes of them
I feel like those floral lamp shades would look good on some milk glass lamps
The 'Polish' tumble-up I would say IS Polish as I have the same piece in a forest Green and it still has the Made in Poland sticker. I don't have a cup though so didn't realise what it was. I just use it as a vase.
Love the Hall 🫖 teapots 2 shelves above the green vase 🥰
I love the orange bowl
I love the radio station in the background.
That white dragon is awesome and would sell for $$$ in your ebay store!!!!
Orange glass and 70s pottery is very popular right now, and I saw some really nice pieces there.🖤🇨🇦
Hi Jocelyn, I have seen bonded leather chairs painted in chalk paint. It might be worth checking out to save your favourite chair
How long have you been on the air? I started watching you about five years ago. Before you and Andrew moved into this house. I used to get such a kick out of the two of you giggling and laughing over your treasures that you found at the flea market! Good luck on finding a new home.
the cobalt ewer is Avon and I have it in cobalt and emerald
Can't wait to see what kind of shade you choose for that beautiful lamp. Sure hope you'll show us. Of course we want to know how much you spent! Lol The $1200 isn't so bad. After all, didn't you recently spent $7,000 (gulp) at an auction?
I’d find a nice fitted chair cover for it.
That little house planter would go in my fairy garden
LOL! I just bought an 🦉 like the one on the shelf yesterday. Home Interiors, but missing its mate.
I spied a pretty Mexican pottery vase in the booth you said there wasn’t much to interest you. My fave!
I would take the shelf to the shop. You could always put seasonal items on it. You picked up a couple of things with bunnies for Easter. I know you are listing Valentine items now.
I really enjoyed this video. Very beautiful items found, plus getting to look at other merchandise was fun! Don’t you feel good when projects are getting done around the house?
WOW! Beautiful pieces!! Can't wait to see if you do a SOLD! update on this trip. Thanks for all the great videos & commentary!! Btw, what's been happening with Gus's hoarder house? :D
Gorgeous white and red vase on that shelf you picked some other items from
Okay so those lampshades... I almost jumped out of my chair because that's exactly what I'm looking for for 2 older lamps that I have that have been sitting unused because I can't find the appropriate shade. Will you list those? That might be the first eBay purchase that I ever do!

I would email her if you want them.
Take a selfie of you and Andrew in the chair, then TOSS! It’s yucky to me. Thank you for the great videos! ❤️
1200 bucks WOW, but it Did look like fun, lol 😆
Hi Jocelyn, wanted to let you know that the next time you go to penn mar antiques in waynesboro there is now a bigger Goodwill in the old Food Lion store in the same shopping center it was in before . The grand opening was Friday I was there and it looks like it is going to be a nice one unfortunately it was way to busy for me as the line to check out was all the way around the store lol
Wowww beautiful things. Goodluck with the sales & househunting 😊 Metal lamps could be recycled for scrap?
Watching you clean out the 3rd floor makes me feel you didn't get enough of the hunt at the hoarder house. lol.
Lotz = low-ts, one syllable. Loetz, really Lötz, but I had to google an extended ASCII chart to find the symbol. I'm no glassie, but that vase wasn't Lötz. 22:48 the picture is 1886 for sure. The textile.... probably later.
Looking forward to a SOLD recap on all these thrifts!!!
My first time here I am new. I was do sad when you didnt show us the lamps in the store.I was m a lamp fanatic
I have a similar, if not the same, little owl that was next to your white dragon. I spray painted it black for Halloween decor. :)
The green lamp in your closet is fabulous! Can I ask what it is? I loved it!
Love your shirt
im a professional organizer , this is like heaven for me lol, I would love to come help organize it, hence im local and I live in Lancaster, PA
that holmegaard faceted actually looks like lindstrand for kosta boda or stromberg / strombergshyttan
Love your green shirt
Please do SOLD vid on this!
Love learning from you!! Would you consider doing a ship with me so that we could see how you ship all these fragile items? Thanks.
I had a very hard time hearing you today. Maybe it was something on my end. There wa zx a beautiful pink/red cut to clear vase to the left front of the red tumble up. I was surprised when you passed it.
You’re totally going to think I’m lying, but I just saw that bowl at 4:50 Saturday here in Joplin, Missouri! I won’t tell you the price, it would just make you feel bad...but it was a LOT less than $69. It was identical, I kid you not!!
How much was that leather bar ware set? That's making a comeback.
