Yesss! Trust me, you guy's are in for a ride. People will tell you it only gets better as it goes on like BB, (which it does) but savor this first season, it really lays the groundwork for the entire rest of the series.

Not sure if you guys remember, but in Season 5 of Breaking Bad, when Walt and Saul are waiting for the vacuum guy to take them, Saul says "If I'm lucky, six months from now I'll be manager of a Cinnabon in Omaha." And that's exactly what he's doing in the beginning of the first episode

If you go back to Season 1 of Breaking Bad, when Walter first meets Saul in his office, he claims to be Brandon Mayhew's father, Saul tells him that he's a "Fellow potato eater" meaning that he is also Irish. He then tells him that his "My real name is McGill. The Jew thing I just do for the home boys.".

@@Justinhomii Nah, Better Call Saul is better than Breaking Bad. Comparing them in every filmmaking aspect. 1. Writing. Both are equally well written, so tied. 2. Acting. The leads in both shows are top-tier, but BCS gets the edge with the supporting actors; they are way better than BB supporting actors performances. 3. Cinematography. BCS easily; no need for explanation. 4. Storytelling. BB, only in the first season, because after that, it's just as good in both, but the first season gets the edge. 5. Editing: BCS 6. Antagonist: BCS 7. Characters: BCS Both shows are masterpieces but BCS is slightly better.

Love Better Call Saul! Im here for it.

That moment it dawns on you that (other than the black&white bits) because this is a prequel, every character that died in Breaking Bad is alive in this. E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E

I am SOOOOO glad that you two started down this road. To me, this show is actually better than Breaking Bad. Yes, it's a "prequel" to the BB series. But unlike Breaking Bad however, you don't have to wait for "future seasons". This show is great right out of the gate at season ONE. Enjoy!

BCS gets better with every season imo the first 2 are kind of slower

I like you guys. Your ideas on these episodes are like when I talk to my own friends, honest and not silly. I like the way you are logical in your reaction, too. Also, you both value the other's opinion, which is endearing to me. I hope you have great success.

Remember, at the end of Breaking Bad, Saul has paid the Vacuum Seller Man $1,000,000 to give him a new identity. Saul is now living in some other state working at a Cinnamon Roll Store as the manager as part of his new life. The show follows his life before Breaking Bad with him remembering his life before while working at the mall. So many small details from this show lead to things lead into Breaking Bad... and visa-versa.
