    Giancarlo is the unsung hero of both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul! He should've already won an Emmy, and there's still time to give him one. What a actor and what a performance!

  • @MrDarkkamui

    He got robbed for his amazing work in Breaking Bad season 4. They gave the Emmy to Aaron Paul ( who did nothing that impressive with his performance in season 4 ) but they should've given it to Giancarlo Esposito because his performance was AMAZING! He was the star of season 4 and anyone who knows anything about acting knows that he is far superior to Aaron Paul.

    @Zachary Hoy you're an idiot. Esposito is a brilliant actor who understands how to be subtle with his performance which was needed for his character. But Aaron Paul had to do so much emotionally. Saying he's overrated is quite a stretch. The guy is one of the best actors out there

    @@o.al3mrey291 Except, if you really wanna get nerdy about it, when the concept is first broached, Saul says "I know a guy who knows a guy... who... knows another guy". 3 steps. You could say it's just an expression, but he genuinely deliberates on that third mention, like it's real. Based on all we know so far, the vet doc could be #1, Mike is #2 and Gus is #3, but at same time, Saul's far enough into that world he should likely only have to use Mike as his first step, he wouldn't have to clear it with the vet first. The sentiment doesn't fully track logically, but it's not so bad that I'd consider it a plot hole or anything, not even close.

    i genuinely hope for an epic end-of-relationship fight that makes a huge impact on Saul after which she disappears from the show in a sense that she goes her separate way. Perhapse years later Saul bumping into her on the streets, catching up with Kim's new life. That's an opportunity for another big emotional examination of Saul's character and Kim's as well, but she would be irrelevant at that point.. The thing with Kim is that she is the girl that always did things "right" in her life. Great grades in school, great job, great manners,.. except that they were things that society, parents wanted her to do, not she herself. You know, the classic "you should do this and that" talk. Well, she did everything they told her she should do and while being flawless at it, she simultaneously oppressed the rebellious voice in her head (that everyone one of us has to some degree and that seems to be in control of Jimmy) that said she can do whatever she wants in a way she wants and that she doesnt have to live up to parents' nor anyones expectations. She is attracted to Jimmy because, with Jimmy around, she can be Giselle, the opressed voice, without being judged and that's a very freeing experience for her. But with the last scene of season 4, Kim realizes that she cant trust him AT ALL, because he fooled her with that speech as well, which means either break up or Jimmy embracing his deep hatred for brother and others or Kim transforming into the same person. We know Saul Goodman from breaking bad is coming so i just hope that they dont ruin, atm, a little bit confused Kim, by keeping her in this mess for too long.

  • @phantomprism7659

    @phantomprism7659

    No no no! That is incredibly stupid! The whole point is that Kim wants to do the right thing. Saul is corrupt and pulls her toward his world of corruption which ultimately puts them at odds. There's a great scene (don't remember what season) where Kim wants to be rebellious and use her alto ego on people at a bar and Jimmy doesn't follow along because he sees Kim descending down the wrong path for the wrong reason and he cares about her too much to let that happen. The idea is that Kim and Jimmy will go there separate ways and without Kims innocence and morality Jimmy falls into darkness finally becoming the Saul we know and love from BB.
