7:53 Figure's upper boot parts are on different sides than how they're shown in the render. Figure's right upper boot is the render's left upper boot. In one of the promo shots, because they're the same sculpt, the figure's right upper boot has the same light reflection patterns as the render's left upper boot. The upper boots are also more centered in the render image, whereas the figure's are slightly off to the side.

The artwork shown at 1:18 is by Steve Epting. It's a portion of the cover to Captain America #50 ("Days Gone By") written by Ed Brubaker and pencilled by Luke Ross. The next issue published happened to be #600 released on June 17th, 2009.

I really like this figure, as someone who didn’t get the first Bucky Cap. My main gripe, however, is I wish the butterfly joints moved more and I absolutely HATE the stupid clip and peg switching system on the shield

I totally agree about the butterfly shoulders. I did the butterfly mod on mine. it's so worth it. for me I did the peg-snip style rather than the Dremel style, just because it's quicker. if it's really bothering you I recommend it 5/5! 😊 I did ot on my Spiderman too. 🤷 I have nothing for the shield, sorry. 🤔 embedded magnets 🧲 maybe

Hope they make a new dark wolverine daken if they make a new bucky cap

Some feel today's legends heads are too big, I think we all agree back in those days, they were too small. Maybe right in-between would be perfect

A capital review, Shartimus. I definitely need to pick the new Bucky Cap. I'm glad Hasbro updated him.

it's so shiny ✨🤩 when mine was delivered from WM (pre-order) I was so excited! I was going to wait to open it, but I just couldn't. the pictures on the box don't do it justice, IMO. it's so shiny ✨🤩 windowless packaging is so dumb, and this figure is so pretty. the Stars are sculpted (well, not the shoulder ones); the stripes are sculpted! 🇺🇲🥰 you could never know that from the box. obviously I bought it anyway, but I thought it was going to be a straight Vulcan repaint. the simple joy I feel holding this figure in my hand, this pice of place, is just totally unexpected 🤩 no, it's not perfect. it's just so much better than I expected 😃

It is poetic that this new Bucky cap is on the new mold that is set to be the replacement for the Bucky Cap mold. I liked the gun the old one came with more though.

You gotta mod it, pop out arms, clip long pegs, put back in, now it's usable 👍

This tells me that we're getting a new Cap figure using this mold very soon. Anyone else?

Hasbro is really pissing me off with how crappy they’re making their ball peg joints for the neck articulation. JUST LEAVE MORE OPENING SPACE AT THE PEG HOLE!!!

They’d need to shorten the stem between the balls and raise the lower ball up to just under the opening. It’s crazy to me that they can’t figure out one of the simplest joints in the toy industry.

I swear they're doing it on purpose to try and convince people that ball peg necks don't work. They already convinced Shartimus, and he's one of the most prominent ML reviewers

It blows my mind that Hasbro, one of, if not the biggest toy company in the world, can’t figure out how to do a double-ball joint properly.

I have him and genuinely like it a lot, probably my most wanted next to Black Widow. I don’t have any issues with the “marbling” as it’s hardly noticeable on mine. 2nd the the belt is keyed into the torso so it doesn’t break. It’s made so it kinda shifts to avoid stress. The only gripes I do have is the “marbling” on the shield and somewhat limited ab crunch.

great review, Shart!👍 you're way more meticulous than the others I've seen even for the same figure. like the thing with the feet👣; I popped mine off and switched them but I was like 'nah that doesn't seem better 🤷' so I switched them back I did the butterfly fix on mine; so good 😊 as for the belt, yes the snag is annoying. I don't think you need to worry though because I think it's a sandwiched-disk of rubber between the hips and abs. it's very different from the rubber ring belt we usually get, but I'm really glad for it because it gives that smooth no-buckle look. I'm going to try to smooth out the plastic seams and see if that helps. 🤔I used to have a real problem with "having to fix stuff that's new out of the box" but now I feel like I'm just doing what I feel like doing to enjoy stuff I like even more than I already do. I was so happy with this figure right out of the box, but the more I tinker with it the more joy it brings me 😃😀😁

I actually have two of these figures. Im debating whether or not to gift the second to my best friend or not. He collects too but not as much as i do. Love this figure, the past few days as soon as I got home I grabbed him and started posing him right away.

I know I'm going to be in the minority here but I still prefer the original Bucky Cap body mold. Not only did it bring us out of the dark ages of the Lego style Bullseye body mold, but his proportions, joints, and versatility across the board were unparalleled. The Vulcan body has issues that I struggle to look past. I know they're making figures taller and taller, but I don't think that necessarily makes them better. I'm not a fan of the barbell neck, especially with that dip cut in the back so he can look straight up. His proportions also get me. His thighs look just a little too long to me, and his bicep/tricep region against his shoulders look likes the number 8. It's great that he has butterfly pecs, but I don't understand why they curved the cuts on the back of the figure. He has a solid range of motion when you have him extend his arms forward, he can even cross them if you wanted. But he can't really reach behind himself, only return to a horizontal wingspread at best. I just imagine that type of joint on a Hulk figure and so he wouldn't be able to wind up a big clap. I'm not sold on this body mold and as a customizer I'm glad I still have so many Legends figures that use the classic Bucky Cap body.

I wish you would have swap shields with 40th cap to see

Yes, Bucky's suit was a metallic texture and reflection on the blue, red, and silver armor. The black was his tactical dress underneath.

Odd an exclusive is a remake of an old fig isn't it? I like Buck cap simple design and not really a complaint but alittle weird he is shiny Also i cant help but think there would be noticeable difference with his metal arm even if covered but comics i guess
