Thank you! I can’t remember the brand exactly but I did get the lure at bass pro shop.

What size line do you use and what power and action rod do you suggest for this type of fishing?

I’m using maxima mono 20lbs for my main and 20lbs fluro for my leader line. At least a medium action rod for this type of fishing as some of these fishes do get pretty huge.

How possible in shallow water there big size? Close to the ocean? What did you use lure jigs show us please

I was there two weeks ago. Not that crowded now. Are steel head good eating? Thinking of going back for steel head.

Coz when u hook them in tail that is what happen. Long leader 2 beads, 100% those fish were snagged. Is sad they take them.

Do u guys know that snagging is illegal rite? U got bo one fush hooked legally. Why u post this?? I dont get it man.

You should release some of the larger natural awesome genetic salmon go...how much can you eat? Let them spawn!

That’s besides the point, some people fish for fun, some for food, and some for both.

Yep more people think that the eyes hatch but the adult fish have to live in saltwater before the egg s will hatch .. look it up

If u snag at least dont mention the river to. Is already full of snaggers we dont need more .

Ruben it’s the homestead dam turn off of US-31 in benzonia in love road take that for about 2 miles then turn right on dam road and take it till it dead ends down by the dam…

check your facts friend... salmon return to the same rivers they were hatched in order to spawn and complete their life cycle. of course eggs hatch in freshwater... can you name a saltwater river?

I see a lot of kid's growing up fish that so called river block called a dam why not remove the damn dam fr the river.. now ur making kids into criminals can't fish with in 300 ft of that salmon block in the river The DNR should be locked in jail himself for letting people block a river like that and stop most the fish fr coming up to lay there eggs..
