The ending almost felt like Hibiki and Shin planned the whole thing from the start, or Shin planned it and led Hibiki down the path to end the school and then at the end Hibiki realised that this was Shin's plane from the start.

I don't know how Japanese law works but they kinda wrote themselves into a box. Even to the end with all the info released the police weren't going to go to the school until they started the fire and they didn't have any choice but to go so the justice system is crazy messed up here. An orphan had her inheritance squandered and was raped by her guardian and she got sent to a shady ass boarding school instead of getting justice. I'm not really sure how to define the MC him and his mom were wrong.

Also police don't react to rumor alone. The post on the internet could just be that or a crazy conspiracy. But the fire forced them to go there and after that everything would eventually come to light. So the fire was necessary, but the justice system still isn't that fucked up in this regard alone atleast. We all know that every justice system in the world has it's flaws.

Just think about it, how good is AI right now at making people look like other people or how good are some youtube channels at making triple A level videos, for example Adhi Shankar's Bootleg Universe, etc. The whole thing could have been just made up. That was my point. The police won't react to a video uploaded to some website. That is why the fire was necessary, to get the first units there. After that, with the video evidence uploaded, all the other stuff will come to light. You totally misunderstood the point I was making.

@@chico1786 That's only an excuse, and I'm pretty sure this came about before there were programs capable of that out there. Besides, it wasn't just some website, it was a firsthand account from the kid escapee. Sure, it's not the most reliable source but it should be more than enough to raise questions and speculation. No, the problem here was never the evidence required. What was happening was corruption and purposefully covered up. Also, you can't fake the evidence from the legal documentation, which medical records would fall under. If they did commit fraud on those documents then that is direct evidence of corruption and coelution with gov. members willing to sweep it under the rug.

this needs a part 3 cause there's a plot inside the plot within another plot

So many lose ends. I want to see Hibiki confront his mom. I want to see Shin take down his brother. Why didn't we see the headmistress get her comeuppance? We just kinda watch her get yelled at by the press and that is it. And I hate how the "big" confrontation was against some dude who was only introduced at the tail end. No one had any emotional investment in seeing him get defeated. I checked the Mahnwa/manga that it is based on to see if this story goes any further, but nope. Nothing. In fact, I can't even find anything past chapter 72. When Hibiki and Shiori try to do it and she keeps throwing up. So I guess the anime was made as a continuation. So yeah. Shit ending.

This is really the end? Wow. That is really disappointing. It doesn't feel like justice and vengeance was fully served at all. The growths of characters also wasn't fulfilling enough. Hikibi was the only one to have anything, as he gained confidence, which is good but it doesn't feel finished.

So apparently i did some research and the anime is different from the manga as they basucally rushed to end it. Apparently in the manga they manage to supress the leaks and fire and hibiki and shin become allies to help take down shins brother and form hibiki and shioris relationships. Oh and shin isnt avrually sick he just doesnt want his brother cominy after him.
