[12:33] I'd like to point out (and mean NO disrespect), but for the Starting Zone agreements, 3 servers were told to go to Burning Lands. In the chat when I was there, it was always "We are taking 2 zones and Dragon will take 1 zone, so you all are stuck in 1 zone." The two who invaded was NK (which I think was part of server 32) and GD (Server 34 I think). Also, BD started in two zones, BDM in Sofrostia and BDO in Daralan. Obviously Burning Lands would be angry because of resources. There weren't enough resources for all 3 servers and we maximized the space [in which BD (and I wasnt interested in global enough to see if Dragon did, but they might've) stated something like "Are you tired of starving in Burning Lands, come join us"]. Betrayals also happened in Burning Lands in which 46 became a home base for GD, half of 48 went to BD, and the other half of 48 staying in Burning Lands until they also were betrayed. There's no leader of and unified 48 anymore, 46 has basically split apart, and the only victors in Burning Lands are NK and GD. Even though the drama in this season centers on BD and Dragon, the other servers have basically been crumpled and/or ruined. [Document (full letter)] BD has allowed 48 people to join them (about one alliance worth, then later in the season, two alliance worth). Also, during the Caltia War, BD has also taken a considerable amount of t5 players from 34 which prompted some complaints. I don't know the amount. Also, if the proposed agreement is sent through, that screws over Burning Land contributors such as NK and GD. They are technically not part of Dragon. I get that the previous agreement had both Blood and Dragon united, but I feel that it'd be sad that Burning Lands warriors do deserve some reward after starving in one zone for half a season.

In my server mege, our server took two starting zones, one project in daralan and the whale alliance in zoland. My smaller alliance went to Burning lands, only to find it coincidentally occupied with almost every smaller alliance as well. I relocated to another starting region to join another alliance that was actually able to do something. Sucks to get stuck in a starting zone though, planning for the season overall wasn't the best, merging 4 servers into one server and then restricting the zones to start in to 4 and making them smaller.

Blood is greedy basically. Also, I remember searching for one rss node for 13+ minutes. I found one at the opposite side of the map. I also remember a Blood diplomat saying "We want this to be an enjoyable experience for all" and proceeds to ruin friendships, ruin servers, and force 100+ people into quitting the game (Im saying 100 because it's safe to say that's the minimum amount of people). This isn't even counting the consequences of shoving them all into one zone (betrayals, wars, and boring Dragon from fights). Blood won't ever know the consequences of their actions. Sure, this betrayal is bad, but it isn't worth a whole season of basically torture. In Burning Lands' eyes, all those things happened because of Blood, and we would probably curse them. Now f2p of the dead servers have 2 options, leave the game or spend 5k gems to 34 or 32 (which is pretty hard work for f2p and they'll be with t5 players) to a more active kingdom. Unless their kingdom does decide to stay together for next season, we all know the answer.

I've seen so many kingdoms/alliances betraying others this early in the game and it's so funny to me. No one will ever ally or trust them and they're putting themselves in a disadvantage for the entire future of the game.

You mean like when one ALLIANCE out of 4 servers takes half the starting territory to themselves and plsses off three entire servers? Yeah, you're right. That's not betrayal. That's upfront stupldity and blinded by ego. No betrayal by our 3 servers either. We were very honest in our hatred for BD. DS deserved one zone, BD deserved one zone. Neither deserved two. You fcked up there.. Stop crying victim. You tried to bully everyone else. Go cry victim somewhere else. You tried to bully everyone and failed.

Thank you for this! I got zeroed after we got betrayed in lorcan, luckily most of my troops were already in my hospital from fighting. It was very disappointing to watch the situation unfold with my own eyes. Sucks to hear you had to go through so much trouble for no response. I have 0 idea of how things could change moving forward, but hopefully we continue getting fights and having fun.

Two things you got burned on. You assumed the diplo was still in place- you know new diplo always creates a need to align. And getting pulled into the fight in the super extended zone- bro there are some many red flags that you mentioned in your video- a nap, a guarantee of t5 support, massively over extending your lines and depleting your storehouse. Obviously you got betrayed, but there are some clear lessons for everyone on what not to do in these types of situations

Its tricky because the original person they made deals and worked with disappeared. So you take the risk of hindering yourself because you arent 100% sure of new diplos. Or trusting they will honor the agreement and be successful. But in this case they trusted and were wrong. Always easier to look back and say what could have been done.

The diplomacy aspect of these types of games is one of my favorite aspects. The rogue players, the individuals and groups that are true totheir word, and the lies/ subterfuge that sketchy actors perpetrate. Add a geopolitical type aspect. The significance of wich cannot be over stated.

hey Chis, I totally understand all these things, these are typical drama in new kingdom with 2 big alliances. I didn’t play cod, only play rok, but I understand what people thinking. the diplomacy doesn’t always work, and many times it is just wasting of time if the other side they don’t want to. Fixing this is simple, grow your power and wipe them out entirely from the kingdom or, migrate to somewhere they share the same value with you, you must know this better than me. Unfortunately this is the most efficient way to solve these type of problem.

I was in Burning Land, and thanks for the video I finally understand what happened and why and how I ended up in Burning Land. All the agreement and betrayal aside, I wasn’t involved in any of those and was only following alliance leadership to move around the map, you said your territory is a disaster.. but have you imagined what it’s like to play in 1 zone together with 3 SERVERS + Nova? While Blood took 2 starting zones, I can’t even farm in our zone packed with players like a can of sardine. While I can’t farm, I can’t grow, and the power difference with you guys just widen day by day, I eventually quitted the game as there is nothing I can do, the zone is simply too packed. At least I hope the “betrayal” makes the game a bit more challenging and fun for you guys, otherwise it will just be FarmVille.

I tried talking with some of your diplomats about a deal, yet there no response!! Wowzer, after a little talk went silent yet I see him talking in tamaris chat! Just because we're a small alliance in BD family eyes doesn't mean we are irrelevant! So we didn't throw ourselves to ally with dragon family. I'm Co-lead in WING.

So my thoughts are that the situation might be ok if Sean comes back but that is very unlikely. I hope that things may get talked out. Language barrier is sooo frustrating in diplomacy.

You keep saying "the other 3 servers' T5's..." over and over. That's funny because all players over 20M from s48 were recruited to Blood at the end of season 1 as soon as the merges were announced. The ONLY T5's in Burning Lands belonged to NV/NK and a few hardcore holdouts in s34 Glory Days (GD01). The same was true for s46. Your first mistake of the season was to stuff everyone that you didn't want to be competition for season content into one zone. It created a boiling point. Betrayal was the course of the day in BL on a regular basis. It became a petri dish and the hatred for Blood's greediness grew. For whatever reason that Dragon decided to "betray" Blood--you provided them with a multitude of willing allies by hogging the map and the game content right from the beginning. How you thought putting a splinter of Blood Haters into one zone with every other server was going to be productive for you is hilarious. Like seriously...you tried fighting a war on two fronts (even IF one was supposedly a mock war) and Atheran became your Waterloo. He who fails to understand history is doomed to repeat it. Emperor Napoleon would have warned you of the outcome.

The dragon family is also to blame for those 3 servers being stuck. If dragon had been honest from the beginning blood would have stayed in one zone together. The only reason blood took 2 was to try to even out the fighting for the season so it wouldn’t be a snooze fest. Because let’s be honest those 3 servers needed to be together to stand any chance. The matchmaking kinda screwed them. And blood together would have just steam rolled everything if you were all split between starting zones

Dragon at least took one zone, Blood took two and said nothing else. Blood wanted everything for themselves. The consequences of this decision was something Blood could never experience. I would search 13+ minutes for a rss node, only to find it on the opposite side of Burning Lands. While BL had to conserve their resources and take as much land as they can get, Blood built territory in lines and had a ton of space. Also, a person has stated, "While the other servers have 10-20 Core Forts, we have double/triple the amount!!!" The one statement I disagree with is "Emperor Napoleon would have warned you of the outcome." Napoleon would've said, "Never attack Russia in the winter." XD

I quit the game because of Dragon Family. The leadership across the whole group is terrible, you don't know anything unless you're in the top circle. Very chaotic + cryptic even for members

And here I thought my server had great drama... Holy.... That was intense

had same problem with a jumper in rok kd 3053. We had Europe group with big whales and Chinese group with big whales. They were very difficult to reach out to and betrayed our agreements with no reason and portrayed to other alliances like we were the bad guys however all went well at the end as they finally agreed to join our family after fighting us which was pointless lol.

I've seen diplo go horribly, especially when it involves diplomacy with a top alliance in a region or server. Compared to smaller alliances, many high power members in top alliances think they might be above "the law" in a sense, and will simply attack when they want, even after being warned by r4s hours earlier to stop. The comparison between the diplomacy I saw in a smaller alliance I was in and a larger alliance I was in is huge.

Sad that this makes me want to pick up and start playing. I miss the diplomacy talks, the drama, and the fighting. Played ROK for 4 years as a whale and king for 2 of those years. Armamements finally did me in and made me quit. Maybe ill pick up CoD...

@@GUCCIPAPERPLATE It was just another thing to buy. It gets old and didn't add anything flavorful or interesting. Was just another thing I "had" to do. I have seen that they have released a lot of new KVK stories...if they had done that 6 months earlier I'd still be playing. The Armaments themselves weren't the problem, it was just adding another thing I had to do that had no additional "fun" factor for me or added entertainment value. That with the KVK stories being boring and old...yep was time to go. CoD looks interesting though. Not sure how I feel about the progress resets though.

I will say though, armaments ain’t as mad as it originally seemed, I was on your side about it but you can actually get some decent ones for free if you have a decent state forum.

TLDR of the video: Dragon Family is spineless and lies at any given opportunity to gain an advantage.

Honestly, I do enjoy this season 1000 times more than the last, i believe a lot BD members will agree with me on that. Not all players want to be in a situation where you fight a day or two then farm for the rest of the season. GG all, it was a great campaign.

Even though I quit RoS and CoD for financial reasons (related to a newborn entering my life :) ), I still love keeping up to date. I wish i was still in the Trenches in Blood Family!

I am currently 24m power in sss1-25 and I see players with 50+ million power with maxed out heroes/artifacts and t5 and they can just dominate the field. F2p or low spending players don’t even have a chance no matter how much time they put in because they are maybe a year behind those whales/krakens and it’s caused multiple players to quit the game and honestly I don’t even stand a chance with 3 other players with the same power against one of those t5 players it’s extremely frustrating feeling powerless against those players and I’m thinking about quitting or taking a break until something is done to help balance the game (this won’t happen because the developers make too much money off of those players to care about f2p or low spenders).

I’m in s31. Very happy with the unity and success of DX and Jedi amongst others against Bx and Nephisto.

I really wish people knew how these conquest games were so close to similar political media like game of thrones or other shows about feudal politics

There are no permanent enemies, and no permanent friends, only permanent interests. D family's interest from the beginning is not aligning with yours. If they don't provide their side of the story or well explain this confusion, their reputation is over.

From my experience in ROK & COD, Chisgule comes off very nice, almost to the point of Naivety, it'd be really easy to sugar coat my words and then lead him into a backstab. Just playing devils advocate, I hope you guys just decide to drop a few racks and stomp them out

I got in a full blown argument on blood discord but this season one when we made the deal to join family this was going to happen. Then I left game when blood family started kicking alliances from family. My point was always we had tons of numbers and support in house we should focus building that. Either way love you chisgule what you do for the community is great

Betrayal is endemic in CoD. To the extent it's the culture. Alliances also kick individuals out at the drop of a hat. As long as Fairlight doesn't lose players, there will be no change in gameplay.

@@emerealm3779 Nephisto arrived super late to a Behemoth capture. They took it without him, then he got his whole alliances territory deleted and started zeroing them. Nephisto is also the sole reason why Jedi etc hate BXS so much. BxS is currently sitting in Z1 like ducks and Neph left

Lack of communication is what caused it, if a diplomat wants war then they will be distant. And purposely muddy the waters.

How about we talk about all the players and alliances Blood brought to the game, you included, and then completely discarded them unless they were massive spenders. Blood has some of the worst leadership that makes terrible spur of the moment decisions without even considering others or those that came to the game yo play with them.

If you thought you can stay with them as f2p you were dreaming bud. Their recruitment was mid to high spenders in the beginning then will take who ever after. Once I heard that I decided not to join the project. Too much $$

Recruitment since 3 months before game launched was for mid-high spenders with a minimum of 500 dollar investment a month from what I remember. Everyone else who joined as f2p took the BD name tag without first being vetted and chosen as part of the project. There were 10 unaffiliated alliances using the name to not get hit by others when the server began.

The s1 had more behemoths and more territory but s1+ has lesser behemoths and territory it made no sense to continue having multiple sub shells under the fam when they don’t get to play the game to the fullest (behemoths massive fights etc ) the efforts needed for this was too much for the results we got. So the decision was made to tell them move to another server or go independent.

My alliance got disbanded by a traitor and then he joined the enemy

As a doctor who plays cod, other diplomats i encounter in the game, do not feel like responsible and normal mentally abled adults. Most of the time i feel like I’m talking to kids. I understand your frustration so much brother😂

I have the impression that BD outsmarted Dragon by recruiting and postitioning itself from the beginning without violating the agreement displayed. BD intent was clearly not friendly towards DS or, at least, the results caused by its actions damaged DS. Chisgule knows what happens if whales dont fight for too long periods. I hope DS share it's point of view, because I have only access to what I had to endure in Burning Lands. The only thing that becomes clearer is that there are no saints in here.

Dragon have already screwed over S34 and didn't give them any rewards after being a major contributor to fighting blood in Z3. HAHAHAHA THE IRONY

34 was spoiled by themselves, they were beaten by BD and yet, almost all of 34's t5s joined BD, what's left of 34 is now in DAB, which is fighting side by side with DS, DA and NK, and everyone will have rewards, including GD participants, But unfortunately GD is an alliance with low activity, and their leader left the alliance to join BD yesterday.

I watched the fight between BDO vs either nk or nv. I dont remember beginning of the season. Bdo couldn't keep up the pressure at caltia and burning lands border.

That’s inaccurate. We stopped defending the border in order to have clear hospitals for lorcan. It has nothing to do with being unable to keep pressure; we stopped defending the land to clear our hospitals.

@Chisgule it doesn't matter if it was accurate or inaccurate. This is what happening from my point of view. The fight you 2 had was intense and a hour later or 2, your alliance stopped. And started moving up north. And east of the continent.

I'm in server 68 and the misinformation stuff is going on with the servers we merged with here too haha. Its wild what people will make up that happened and how many will believe it with no evidence. good video lots of spicy drama.

Reading this comment section makes me wonder how much these east asian/ South east asian alliances betray, for example in 2642 we had this vietnamese. main alliance and they honestly were so chaotic and racist. And during kvk they betrayed a ally who was helping us invade another vietnamese king in kvk, So we took opportunity and started a civil war it went well then downhill, Following our defeat we just skirmished. After LK ended they cut of our territory, But we managed to zero many of them, We eventually lost and migrated to KD 2641. But we crippled them so badly that today speaking they are struggling to maintain 6milliln total power for the main alliance😂

The mistake bd did at the beging was thinking they were okay this season with DS and not attempting any sort of diplomacy with the other servers but rather seizing 2 zones for themselves and pushing everyone else into burning lands.

You are 100% correct. The biggest mistake BD made was trusting dragon unconditionally and not preparing fallbacks

dragon family leadership/ diplomats are hands down the worst kind of leaders. I hope the dragon family will get it together before Blood family wipes them off the map along with all their little server lackeys.

Most of the servers the second allince in the kingdom betrayed the first allince

Ive had this experience with some Korean kingdoms in RoK. Almost identical tbh. Some of them were great all around. Fighting diplo etc. but others hated the fact foreigners had power so much that they eventually just went rogue and burned all our cities in zone 3 while we slept. By the time we all were aware of what was going on it was too late and the people we were friends with on their side couldnt do anything but watch.

this is a game nobody is a victim. the 2 big dogs always fight.
