I love how Bethany run up to David saying "Uncle David". Bethany was the only one to welcome with open arms.

I mean he was made an uncle at nine and all the attention went towards Sarah and Bethany, then his dad left, then Gail brought a con artist/murder into the house and he drove them all into the canal! His dad then left him to go off with his girlfriend Robin meaning he’ll see so much less of his own father. No wonder he is the way he is although I’ve got to say he’s an absolute legend

I inderstand what David did was wrong but at the same time I csn also see it being the beginning of his bad boy (and I don't mean that in the romanticized way) character out come and how he has never truly changed from it. I understand he needed to be pubished but they take it too far and that is what pushes him over the edge little by little and he hasn't really been right since. Especially with his mother and this showed how much he loved his mother at one time and now he just doesn't really care that deeply about her anymore.

@@libbegreen3472 This, if I remember right, was when he was going through a drug phase (if you can call it that) and he had some drugs he took from someone and hid them inside one of Brthany's dolls as he didn't know where else to hide them. Bethany came to get her doll and before David could get to it and ended up finding them and swallowing them.

Well, you can't blame David's family for being angry with him. Bethany almost died because of his own stupidity and he really misbehaved and was being a total prick. I know he's sorry for what happened to Bethany and he never meant for her to get hurt. If he hadn't hid the ecstasy pills in Bethany's doll he wouldn't had got evicted from the house. He's lucky Bethany is not dead.
